We also added kimchi as a side dish.

The taste was exactly what you'd expect from a classic gyudon—savory and slightly sweet seasoned beef that's simply irresistible. Wonny loved it too, finishing every last bite!

I'd recommend adding a side like kimchi. Eating gyudon without any sides felt a little plain for my taste.

My ponzu sauce and grated daikon gyudon was fantastic, the refreshing radish pairing perfectly with the savory beef.

My husband's Abura Soba set was a bit on the oily side for my preference, but still quite tasty. I imagine it would be a great pairing with a cold beer!
