Ordering is conveniently done via a QR code at your table. Personally, I think the 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks is a better deal than the 2,000 Yen discount!
Always Course

We chose the 'Always Course' for 8,000 Japanese Yen!
It began with an assortment of fresh kimchi and a vibrant salad. The kimchi was pleasantly sweet with a mild kick (definitely not too spicy for most palates). The salad was uniquely topped with seaweed, which surprisingly complemented the lettuce really well! It was a fantastic palate cleanser between meat courses.

Three dipping sauces were provided: a savory sesame oil sauce, a mild spicy sauce (even for those sensitive to spice), and a classic BBQ sauce.

The first cut of meat was thick-sliced beef tongue! I'm used to thin slices, so seeing such a substantial cut was a pleasant surprise.

The best part? The staff expertly grilled all the meat for us, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy!

Initially, I worried the thick beef tongue might be tough, but it was incredibly tender. In fact, it had a much more satisfying chew than the thin slices, and the rich, savory flavor was even more pronounced. This was easily the highlight of the course for me – absolutely delicious!

Of course, nothing pairs better with grilled meat than a cold beer or a refreshing soda. Japanese draft beer is always a treat!

Next up was the 'Fire Steak,' presented with the meat and a special liquor.

The meat was cooked to perfection, then dramatically flambéed,

creating a spectacular fire show! This steak was infused with a wonderful smoky aroma and, thanks to its thickness, was incredibly juicy. It truly felt like the star of the course.

Following that, we received three different cuts of leaner meat.

After enjoying the richer, thicker cuts, these lighter options were perfectly timed to refresh our palates and keep us wanting more.

Then came the Samgyeopsal – succulent pork belly that's a staple in Korean cuisine! Thoughtfully, it was served with ssamjang (a savory Korean dipping sauce, often a mix of fermented bean paste and chili paste) and fresh lettuce, perfect for making wraps. Enjoying this classic dish in Japan was a delightful surprise; it was simply irresistible.

For the final course, you get to choose between White Naengmyeon (cold noodles) or Gukbap (rice soup), with Gukbap available in both red (spicy) and white (mild) versions. I opted for the white Gukbap, and its rich broth felt incredibly comforting, almost like a Korean Seolleongtang. The red version would likely be a fantastic, spicy option for a hangover!

The White Naengmyeon had an interesting appearance, and its flavor was reminiscent of Korean Kongguksu (cold soybean noodle soup). It was great to have the choice of either noodles or rice to conclude the meal, catering to different preferences.

Dessert was Annin Tofu! Its smooth texture and subtle sweetness made it the perfect light and refreshing end to our feast.
Given that most of the diners were Japanese, it's clear this spot is a favorite among locals. During peak dinner hours, it can get quite busy, so making a reservation is highly recommended to secure your table.
If your Tokyo itinerary includes Ikebukuro, Yakiniku Todoroki comes highly recommended for an unforgettable dinner experience!
