Wiber Car Rental Mallorca Review 2026: Airport Tips

From picking up your keys at Mallorca Airport to dropping them off, here is my honest review of renting with WIBER!

I've put together everything you need to know, from shuttle bus hacks to booking tips for your next Mediterranean road trip.

If you're planning a trip to Mallorca, renting a car is pretty much a necessity to explore the island's hidden coves and mountain villages.

When searching for rental cars in Mallorca, you'll quickly notice a few major players. The most famous ones are probably Hertz and Wiber.

However, Hertz can be incredibly pricey. After doing some digging, I found that WIBER offered the best value for money and had fantastic reviews, so we decided to go with them—and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience!

Their website is fully available in English, making the booking process incredibly smooth.

Even if you aren't familiar with European car rental terms, you only need to remember two main things: Car Class and All Inclusive. Once you have those down, the rest is a breeze!

Pro Booking Tips

Mallorca is famous for its narrow roads and tight village alleys.

Unless you have a massive amount of luggage, renting the smallest car possible is always the smartest move.

It might be tempting to book a large, luxury vehicle to cruise around in style, but you run a very high risk of scraping the sides against stone walls. Trust me on this one—go compact!

Total Cost: ~$335 including All-Inclusive Insurance (with promo code applied)

🚨 Keep in mind that specific models aren't guaranteed. Under Wiber's system, we ended up getting a Ford Puma.

While you can't select the exact model, they guarantee a similar vehicle within the same class!

As a quick tip, search for "Wiber Promotion code" on Google before booking. There are usually several active codes, so try a few until one works to save some extra cash!

How to Find the WIBER Shuttle Bus at Mallorca Airport

Once your booking is confirmed, Wiber will email you instructions on how to find the shuttle bus.

Your very first task upon landing is to head outside and catch this shuttle to their off-site office.

After grabbing your bags, exit the terminal between Gates B and C. Follow the signs toward the parking garage.

The shuttle pickup zone is just about a 5-minute walk from the terminal.

Keep an eye out for the bright mint-colored van with the WIBER logo!

To be completely honest, the van is on the smaller side. If there are a lot of travelers arriving at the same time, you might have to wait for the next run.

Luckily, the shuttle runs every 10 to 15 minutes, so the wait is never too long. Once on board, it's a quick 10-minute drive to the rental office.

WIBER Check-In Hacks

If you want to get your keys and hit the road immediately, online pre-check-in is absolutely essential!

If you skip this step, you won't be able to use the self-service kiosks and will have to wait in a long line at the counter.

If you opt for the All Inclusive insurance, the return process is incredibly easy. The staff won't even inspect the car for scratches when you bring it back. Highly recommended!

Our Rental Car: The Ford Puma

Ta-da!

We were assigned a gorgeous red Ford Puma ST-Line!

My husband absolutely loved the color. While you can't choose the color yourself, this vibrant red was the perfect match for Mallorca's turquoise waters, giving off major vacation vibes.

It was also incredibly fuel-efficient—we only had to fill up the tank once during our entire 6-day trip!

The interior was spotless and felt brand new.

Apple CarPlay connected seamlessly, making navigation via Google Maps super convenient, and the USB ports worked perfectly.

Plus, the A/C was ice-cold, which was a lifesaver in the Mediterranean heat!

I can't stress this enough: Mallorca's village roads are extremely narrow, and parking spaces are tight.

A subcompact to compact SUV like this is the perfect size.

We actually wanted to rent an even smaller car, but they were already fully booked, so this was the smallest available option. Do yourself a favor and book a small car early!

Dropping off was a breeze!

For the return, just drive back to the Wiber office and drop off the keys.

As long as you return it with a full tank of gas (matching the pickup level), there is no tedious inspection process.

After that, hop right back on the shuttle to the airport. It made catching our flight stress-free!
