Nha Trang VinWonders Ticket Prices and
Review of My 'Silly Spending' Mistakes
Alpine Coaster & Zipline with Kids
Recommended Itinerary for a Full-Day Pass
Text/Photos © Minimay

Nha Trang VinWonders was a place I debated visiting right up until the last minute while planning my trip.
I thought it might not be much different from Everland back home,
and committing a whole day to it felt like a big ask during our already short 3-night, 5-day Nha Trang itinerary.
Although I made some 'silly spending' mistakes by getting lost,
the giraffe feeding, Alpine Coaster, and zipline are experiences hard to find back home,
so both my child and I ended up being very satisfied with the day.
Today, I'll break down everything from comparing Nha Trang VinWonders ticket prices,
the cost and booking for the Alpine Coaster and zipline,
to a recommended itinerary based on our visit with a child.

1. Why I Hesitated About Nha Trang VinWonders
The biggest reason I hesitated about Nha Trang VinWonders was our short travel itinerary.

With an already brief 3-night, 5-day Nha Trang trip,
I really questioned whether we *needed* to go to a theme park
while traveling abroad.
However, with unique experiences like giraffe feeding, the Alpine Coaster, and the zipline—things that are hard to experience back home—
we ended up having a super satisfying day.
I did get a bit lost and ended up losing some time/money,
so for those of you reading this, I'll meticulously lay out everything
from price comparisons to the best way to get to the Alpine Coaster and zipline,
so you don't make the same mistakes I did!
2. Klook Ticket Price Comparison
If you buy Nha Trang VinWonders tickets at the gate, you'll pay full price, so I
highly recommend purchasing them in advance through a booking platform.
Buying in advance means you can bypass the ticket counter,
enter directly with a QR code, avoid waiting in lines, and even get discounts.

On Klook, a full-day pass for one adult is available for booking at ~$43.

Currently, if you purchase VinWonders admission tickets on Klook,
you'll also receive a Grab 20% discount voucher, which is great to use for getting to the cable car station.
3. How to Maximize Your Full-Day Pass with an Early Start and Get to the Alpine Coaster

On the day you visit VinWonders, it's a good idea to
arrive at the cable car station around 8:30 AM.
When we arrived, the line wasn't long,
but we could see it growing rapidly behind us.
And to minimize your wait time for the Alpine Coaster,
you should head there immediately after getting off the cable car.

After entering, face the VinWonders building straight ahead,
then head to the left to find another entrance.
Scan your QR code here, go through, and keep walking straight –
that's the way to the Alpine Coaster.

I, however, chose to go right here and ended up getting lost,
which led me to purchase a paid reservation ticket for the Alpine Coaster.
What a silly expense...
Make sure to remember the direction and go early to save yourself some money!
How to Purchase Alpine Coaster and Zipline Tickets

Next to the Alpine Coaster entrance in the photo,
there's an information-style counter where you can purchase paid fast tickets and make time reservations.
Reservations were available in 30-minute slots,
and the last slot was at 5 PM.

The price is 200,000 VND per person,
and since there's a daily limit on fast tickets, it's better to book in advance
rather than hesitating if you want to avoid waiting.
You could also sign up for the Zipline at the same place where I booked the
Alpine Coaster fast ticket.
At the time of my visit, the fee was 300,000 VND per person,
and daily usage is limited to 150 people.

I've tried ziplining many times in other travel destinations,
but the VinWonders Zipline was truly impressive with its sensation of soaring across the theme park
towards the sea.
Being able to look down at VinWonders and the ocean all at once
from such a height made the extra cost totally worth it.
Category | Alpine Coaster Fast Ticket | Zipline |
Fee | 200,000 VND per person | 300,000 VND per person |

King's Garden Zoo and Water Park

At King's Garden, the famous flamingo photo zone (seen in many pictures) welcomed us,
and we also got to feed the giraffes.
The flamingo photo zone was just as vibrant and beautiful as in the pictures,
making it perfect for taking memorable photos.

The giraffe feed cost 100,000 VND at the time of our visit,
and we received a giraffe keychain plushie.
My child had seen a giraffe hotel on TV and wanted to visit,
so at VinWonders Nha Trang, we were able to check off one of their bucket list items
by feeding a giraffe ourselves for an affordable price.
Every time you purchase a paid ticket, they give you a keychain plushie.

We bought three Alpine Coaster tickets, three Zipline tickets,
and one giraffe feed, bringing home six capybara plushies and one giraffe plushie.

It seemed like the capybara dolls varied slightly in shape depending on the day's stock,
and among them, there was one capybara that was seriously 'bamtie' (sleepy/droopy-eyed), making it a truly unique souvenir from our trip.
The Water Park: No Long Lines!

Nha Trang VinWonders Water Park might not have a wave pool,
but it boasts a truly incredible variety of slides,
and the best part? Minimal waiting times!
It was fantastic to move from one short queue to another, having a blast with my child!

There's also an attraction you can enjoy by walking through it.
My child moved through it fearlessly,
but it was much higher than I expected, and I was trembling!
Highly recommended for the brave of heart!
5. Our Recommended One-Day Itinerary with Kids
Cable Car Entry → Alpine Coaster Reservation → Outdoor Rides → Partial Zoo Visit → Lunch → Water Park → Shower → Reserved Alpine Coaster & Zipline → Remaining Zoo Visit → Ferris Wheel → Tata Show Viewing → Exit |

In the morning, we enjoyed the outdoor rides
and after a partial tour of the zoo,
during the strongest midday sun,
we had lunch and headed to the Water Park.

After a fantastic time at the water park and a refreshing shower,
we finished exploring the rest of the zoo in the late afternoon.
This was far less tiring than trying to see the entire zoo
during the peak heat of midday.

We made sure to arrive on time for our Alpine Coaster and Zipline reservations, as being late could lead to cancellation.
The Alpine Coaster track was long,
and being able to control our speed made it even better!

For the Zipline, you ride the Alpine Coaster up and then board it at an intermediate disembarkation point.
It's a short 2-3 minute walk along a well-maintained mountain path to get to the boarding area.
They suggested my child and I ride together,
but I refused! Haha.
I waited so long for this!

My husband rode it back when he was approaching 220 lbs,
and because of his weight, he went incredibly fast!
He almost flew off and thought he was going to plunge into the sea... lol.
I wondered if he was going to reverse all the way back, haha, almost out of sight!

After exploring the zoo, our final stop was
the Ferris Wheel, situated high up on the grounds.
As we made our way there, the sun began to set, and the Ferris Wheel lights
came on, making it look incredibly spectacular!

The Ferris Wheel itself is quite large and positioned at a high elevation,
offering a perfect spot to sit back and admire the stunning VinWonders night view.

The Tata Show is something you can choose based on your child's age and preferences.
It's worth seeing if you have a child in lower elementary school or one who loves dazzling performances,
but my older son found it a bit unexciting.
Also, worried about long cable car queues after the show ended,
we left the Tata Show midway through.

If your Nha Trang itinerary is short,
you might feel it's a waste to spend a whole day at VinWonders.
If you prefer a relaxing resort vacation
or aren't interested in rides and water parks,
you don't necessarily have to go.
On the other hand, if you want to enjoy rides, the zoo, and water play with your kids
and experience unique attractions,
I highly recommend the Alpine Coaster, Zipline, or feeding the giraffes!
If you purchase in advance, you can enter directly with a QR code
without the ticket purchase process,
so I highly recommend booking in advance!
