Discover Villa Deva Bangkok, a 5-star oasis near Lumphini MRT. Enjoy pool access rooms, lush gardens, and tranquil city escapes. Perfect for couples seeking both convenience and relaxation.

For the first day of my Bangkok trip,
I wanted to relax somewhere quiet,
so I stayed at Villadeva Bangkok.
I had only booked one night out of my three-night stay,
and I really regretted only staying for one night!

Villadeva Bangkok Resort
is a 5-star hotel perfect for couples
who want both easy access to the city center and a peaceful retreat.
A swimming pool right outside your door,
beautifully landscaped gardens,
and spacious bathrooms were particularly impressive!
Let's dive into the full review below.
✔ 5-7 minute walk from Lumpini Station
✔ Approximately 30-40 minutes by taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport
Tip. If you're visiting when the weather is particularly hot,
it's a great idea to use the hotel's shuttle service to Lumpini Station!
Departure Times: 8:15 AM / 12:15 PM / 4:15 PM / 8:15 PM

Being right in the heart of Bangkok,
I expected it to be bustling,
but once you step inside the resort,
the atmosphere completely transforms.
Just a few steps off the main road,
you're immediately enveloped in a serene ambiance.
It's perfect for those who want to enjoy city access
while also having a tranquil escape within their accommodation.

However, there was one minor downside.
There aren't many restaurants open late in the immediate vicinity.
Luckily, a convenience store is just about a 5-minute walk away,
so you can grab essentials if needed.
If you're someone who often craves
late-night snacks or dinners,
keep this in mind before your visit.
5-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 12:00 PM
The garden landscaping is stunning right from the entrance,
making it easy to snap great photos even with a short stroll.
The staff were also incredibly friendly,
and the room condition was simply impeccable...
It truly exceeded all my expectations!

I stayed in a Deluxe Pool Access Room this time.
The interior features clean, wooden tones.
The high ceilings give it an airy, refreshing feel,
but it also felt surprisingly cozy, not at all stifling.

The room was spacious at 48㎡ (approximately 517 sq ft),
with dedicated space to lay out luggage.
The bed was super wide, and the bedding was incredibly plush.

What impressed me the most, though, was the bathroom.
I'm particularly fond of spacious bathrooms,
and the comfort it provided while getting ready was truly unparalleled.
The absolute best part was
that the pool was right outside the door!
Waking up in the morning and being able to swim
immediately was such a treat.

The room also had a coffee machine,
so imagine brewing a fresh cup in the morning,
opening the door, and relaxing on a sunbed...
Ah, words can't even describe how amazing that would be!
For this reason alone,
I'd want to return to the Deluxe Pool Access Room at Villadeva Bangkok.
▶ Check Room Prices for My Travel Dates

Honestly, the Pool Access Room is a bit pricey, so
if you don't necessarily need a room directly connected to the pool,
a slightly more affordable Pool View room would also be a great option!

At first, I just thought it was a nice option,
but once I stayed there, realizing that all you had to do was open the door
and the pool was right there, it was incredibly convenient.
Normally, when you go to a pool, you have to put on your swimsuit
and travel somewhere,
but since it's connected to your room,
the hassle of having to travel disappears!

My husband, who absolutely loves the water,
said this was one of his favorite parts.
In the mornings, there was hardly anyone around,
so we practically had the entire pool to ourselves.
It was also easy to take photos without worrying about other people.
We had an early breakfast
and then went to play in the pool!

After 10 AM, the number of users tends to increase,
so if you want a quiet and private atmosphere,
it's best to go in early morning!
For a couples trip,
if you want to spend your mornings in a relaxed way,
this pool alone
will be reason enough to visit The Villa Deva Bangkok!
We booked it for approximately ~$248 per night.
It was quite a bit more expensive than I thought....😂
Deluxe Pool Access Room
1-Night Price including Breakfast (September 2026)
Trip.com | Agoda |
~$255 | ~$248 |
Based on my checks for September,
the Pool Access Room was similarly priced
but the most basic room, the Pool View Room,
can be booked on Agoda for a slightly lower price from ~$152.
Prices change daily,
and free cancellation periods vary by booking platform,
so I recommend comparing them before booking!

Breakfast can be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors,
wherever you prefer.
Going early in the morning is great because it's still cool outside.

With everything from salads, fruits, and yogurt to fresh bread,
there's a diverse buffet spread to choose from,
plus, you can even order dishes like omelets or French toast
freshly made!
So, even if you usually find buffets a bit lacking, you'll be more than satisfied here.

Every single dish was served impeccably,
and the whole experience was incredibly satisfying,
so I highly recommend booking with breakfast included!

I made sure to check out the fitness center too,
and even though it's not massive, it was never crowded,
so I could work out comfortably without feeling self-conscious.
Plus, being on the second floor, the view is absolutely killer....
Beyond the machines, they also have exercise balls, dumbbells, and other
bodyweight exercise tools,
which was great for mixing up my routine-
This place is perfect for:
✔ Couples who want a peaceful retreat within their accommodation, even in the heart of the city |
✔ Travelers who love having a swimming pool at their fingertips |
✔ Anyone who values a high-quality breakfast experience |
If your travel style is all about hunting down diverse late-night bites
or exploring vibrant areas like Khao San Road or Asok until late into the night,
then a stay closer to those bustling areas might suit you better.
While I only stayed one night out of my three-day trip, leaving me wishing I had booked more,
the experience of waking up and stepping straight into the pool from our room,
and enjoying a leisurely morning routine in the spacious bathroom
boosted my satisfaction levels far more than I anticipated.
If you're a couple seeking the perfect blend of city accessibility and serene relaxation for your trip,
I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Deva Bangkok :)
