Are you planning a trip to Florence, Italy,
for an upcoming long holiday?
I'm also preparing tickets for the Uffizi Gallery,
a must-visit in Florence, as I plan my September trip there!
Today, I'll show you how to book Uffizi Gallery tickets on their official website
and introduce a tour you might want to consider!
First, before I introduce you to the Uffizi Gallery ticket booking method,
let me share some useful tips to know before entering the museum.
That is, booking a guided museum tour in advance.
You might have experienced paying a hefty ticket price to enter a museum or gallery,
only to find yourself taking pictures and leaving because you lacked the background knowledge about the exhibits.
I had that very experience at the Louvre Museum in Paris myself,
so this time, to avoid repeating the same mistake at Florence's Uffizi Gallery,
I decided to book a guided tour!
It's definitely true that seeing the artworks with a guide allows you to learn vivid historical stories
and backgrounds related to them, making them much more memorable and keeping you engaged throughout your visit.

Next, I'll show you how to book Uffizi Gallery tickets
directly on the official website!
(Please note that even if you book the tour above,
you'll still need to book your tickets separately.)

First, please go to the official website link above.
When you enter the official website, you'll see a screen like the one above.
Please click the "Biglietti" button in the top right corner.
After that, if you scroll down, you'll see a screen like the one above.
You just need to click the "Acquista online" button at the very bottom under "Uffizi" on the left.
It will then switch back to Italian, so please change the language to EN English in the top right corner.
Then, click the "Details" button for "The Uffizi"!
Next, if you click on Details for the uffizi - Entrance Tickets,
you'll be able to select your date and time.
I opted for a morning tour, so I booked one of the three slots
between 8:15 and 8:45. Even though my trip is still two months away,
the 8:15 and 8:30 slots are already sold out! This tells me that
you should book your Uffizi Gallery tickets as quickly as possible.
Once you've clicked on a time slot, click the
Login button in the bottom right corner.
Then, a login window will appear. To sign up,
click the Register as Customer button.
At this point, please enter the required information such as your English first name, English last name,
email address, and password.
It seems you can skip the non-mandatory fields!
When entering the above information, you need to make sure your email address is correct.
That's because you'll need to verify your email!
Once you receive the verification code in your email, enter the numbers exactly as they are into the OTP field.
After entering, click 'verify email'!
You'll then return to the booking window.
At this point, select the number of people, confirm the total amount, and click the 'checkout' button.
📍By the way, the ticket price for one adult is 29 Euros.
(Based on an exchange rate of 1,663 KRW per Euro, approximately ~\$33)
Please confirm the buyer's information and then enter the English first name and last name
for each person attending, one by one.
Make sure to double-check that the English first name and last name are correct!
(They must match the name on your passport for entry.)
Since credit card is the only payment method available,
it will be automatically set.
Next, in the Shipping Methods section,
you can just check all the boxes.
Following that, you can proceed with the card payment.
Simply enter the cardholder's English first name, last name,
card number, expiration date, and CVC in order.
After entering, click 'continua', and finally,
if all the information is correct, click 'conferma'!
Finally, once the reservation confirmation screen appears,
your payment and reservation are complete!
Within 1-2 minutes, you'll receive an email at the address you provided above,
with your ticket (admission pass).
As shown in the screen above, once you confirm the ticket PDF via email,
your reservation is officially confirmed!
Not too difficult, right?

you'll be able to book in no time!
The Uffizi Gallery, a must-visit on any Florence trip,
is best enjoyed if you prepare two things in advance:
1. A guided tour
2. An admission ticket booked on the official website
Taking a guided tour of the museum will allow you to
enjoy it more fully, thanks to expert knowledge and fascinating historical anecdotes.
Also, don't forget to use the discount code I mentioned earlier
to book your tour at a great price!
For the second point, the admission tickets often sell out quickly,
so if you have your visit date and time set,
I highly recommend booking them in advance!
