When you think of the closest overseas travel destination from Korea,

Tsushima Island probably comes to mind, right?

You don't even need to take a plane;

just over an hour by ferry from Busan Port,

and you can arrive in Japan.

It's become incredibly popular lately.

Especially from June to August,

it's one of the best seasons to visit Tsushima.

As the weather gets warmer,

the ocean becomes absolutely stunning,

and July and August are the perfect time for swimming at the beach and playing in the valleys.

I visit Tsushima every year during this season,

and the ocean is so beautiful, it feels like a trip to Southeast Asia,

which is why I find myself coming back every year.

Even though it's so close to Busan,

you can still feel that unique Japanese atmosphere,

and above all, the sea is incredibly clear and beautiful,

making you want to return again and again after just one visit.

However, from June to August,

it's a destination eagerly awaited by sea lovers.

Tsushima's waters are incredibly clean,

and the underwater environment is fantastic.

When I first visited,

"It's so close to Busan, yet

the ocean is this clear?!"

I was completely amazed.

Especially Miuda Beach in Hitakatsu, which is easily accessible even for a day trip,

is known as one of Japan's most beautiful beaches.

With its emerald waters and soft white sand,

you'll feel like you've stepped into a Southeast Asian resort.

And guess what? There are over 10 such beaches!

If you're hesitant about long flights to places like Southeast Asia,

takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes,

On the other hand, Izuhara

is where Tsushima's main downtown area is located,

making it a favorite for travelers planning 1-night/2-day or 2-night/3-day trips.
