As someone who absolutely loves being in the water,
I wish I could hold onto summer forever... haha.
But since I love autumn too,
I highly recommend this Tokyo hotel with an infinity pool
where you can swim through both autumn and winter!
It's not just any accommodation—it’s packed with incredible aesthetic vibes,
making it the ultimate Tokyo dream hotel
to capture your next life-worthy photos.
Just the photos of this infinity pool alone
made it my number one most-asked-about hotel!
And yes, the heated pool is open year-round,
so you can enjoy a swim anytime. :)
There are two locations in Tokyo,
but you absolutely MUST choose the Yoyogi Park location!

We stayed here in late October
in a Standard Room - City View (Terrace)
at the lowest rate, in the ~$380 range.
The difference between this and the Suite
comes down to the size of the room,
and the Suite includes an extra living area (complete with a TV).
The Standard Room doesn't have a TV.
I actually decided on my entire Tokyo trip after seeing photos of this place.
I absolutely fell in love with "TRUNK(HOTEL)"!
Especially the rooftop—doesn't it feel totally like a cool, laid-back American boutique hotel? haha.

It's absolutely bursting with boutique hotel charm, isn't it?
The staff members were all incredibly friendly too.
There's a full-length mirror inside the elevator,
so keep that in mind if you love
snapping outfit-of-the-day pictures! :)
The room we stayed in was the
"Standard Room - City View."
Since every single room at TRUNK(HOTEL)
comes with its own private terrace,
even the Standard Room felt completely spacious for two people.
Compared to the average, tiny hotel rooms in Tokyo,
this felt significantly more open and comfortable.
We laid out two large suitcases and still had absolutely no trouble moving around.
Inside the room,
they had delicious egg tarts waiting for us as a welcome treat.
And right after we checked in,
a staff member brought fresh cookies and hot herbal tea
directly to our room on a beautiful wooden tray.
I was totally in love with these thoughtful, aesthetic little details!
Even the keycard is absolutely adorable!
The electric kettle provided is sparkling clean,
and the minibar and glassware
are set up so beautifully and neatly.
Pro-tip: Throw the comfy robe over your swimsuit
when you take the elevator up to the rooftop pool!
It's the perfect easy cover-up.
Here is the view that greets you the moment you step off the elevator!
To the left is the gorgeous infinity pool,
and there's also an Oyster Bar right there
for you to enjoy.
Personally, I highly recommend visiting
from late afternoon through the evening.
The daytime view is stunning,
the sunset is absolutely magical,
and the city lights at night are simply breathtaking! Haha.
As soon as you step into the infinity pool area,
the super attentive staff will set up towels
on your sunbeds for you.
We even got a complimentary glass of champagne
as a welcome drink!
Seriously, the service here is top-notch—everyone is incredibly friendly.
You can enjoy night swimming here because they keep
the heated pool open all year round!
After splashing around,
slipping into the warm jacuzzi next to the pool
will make all your worries melt away... pure heaven! 🥺 haha.
There's also an outdoor shower area,
so you can quickly rinse off before and after
jumping into the pool.
Since there is an electric kettle in the room,
After going for a swim,
you can come down and enjoy some warm tea.
Right next to the hotel (less than a 5-minute walk),
there's a "Fuglen" cafe,
so you can grab a cup to go
and enjoy it out on your terrace.
Even though it's a city view, it's perfect for just zoning out and relaxing, haha.
We stayed here in late October
in a Standard Room - City View (with Terrace),
and since we were
so incredibly satisfied,
we would absolutely love to go back if we get the chance!
As for the difference from the suites,
there's the overall size difference,
and the suites also come with an extra living room area (complete with a TV).
Standard Rooms don't have a TV.
Usually, the suites go for about ~$640 - ~$1,024 a night,
while the Standard Rooms are around ~$448 - ~$576.
We booked our Standard Room in the ~$384 range.
Since staying at TRUNK(HOTEL) was the whole reason
we planned this Tokyo trip in the first place,
I constantly searched almost every booking site before we went
and managed to score a great deal.
It's such a popular hotel
that booking isn't easy...
So if you're planning a holiday trip,
or gearing up for a fall or winter getaway,
make sure to plan ahead and secure your spot!
Since many of you have been curious about the pricing,
I actually looked up and compared prices across travel sites
for the exact same dates
at the end of October this year.
