While there are plenty of stylish and trendy places, those often won't drop below ~$69, especially when you're scrambling for a last-minute reservation. So, today, I'm bringing you a truly no-frills option – a place that's strictly for sleeping, pure and simple.
The Upsides
First and foremost, it's incredibly budget-friendly. Even well-equipped Tokyo capsule hotels can be surprisingly expensive, but this one offers a price point that's genuinely reasonable. Plus, while it's not right next to the station, it's still conveniently located in the lively Shinjuku area of Tokyo.
The Downsides
It's truly just a place to sleep. Think of it like a basic hotel for a business trip – no frills, no fancy amenities. But hey, if you're out exploring all day, all you really need is a place to crash, right?

You'll find it in this vibrant area. It's not far from the nearest station, and the surrounding neighborhood is bustling with activity.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM,
and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Since check-in isn't super early, you might have some time to kill. No worries! You can drop off your luggage and head out to explore until your capsule is ready.
Just like many other budget-friendly Japanese capsule hotels, if you're staying for more than one night, you'll need to vacate your capsule during cleaning hours. (Some places are exceptions, but this type usually requires you to step out.)
And here it is, the capsule itself! They're stacked closely together, offering just enough space for you to lie down. If possible, I recommend requesting a lower bunk when you check in for easier access.
You'll find laundry facilities and other conveniences here. The vending machine selection is particularly impressive, offering everything from drinks to snacks and even cup noodles. If you're feeling peckish late at night, you won't even need to step outside to grab a bite. (Though, since you're on vacation, I'd encourage you to explore the local eateries!)
There's also a spacious lounge area where you can enjoy your vending machine finds or outside food. They even have a wide selection of manga comics – though, fair warning, they're likely all in Japanese!

In a nutshell, this spot is truly for those who just need a place to lay their head. If you're trying to book a last-minute trip and decent options are scarce, it's definitely worth considering.
