Roppongi Hills Observation Deck

Roppongi Hills is one of Tokyo's most iconic observation decks, offering an incredibly close-up view of Tokyo Tower.
Personally, I can't recommend visiting during sunset enough!
It's absolutely breathtaking there (haha)!
Booking your Roppongi Hills tickets online is way cheaper and gets you in faster than buying on-site.
I personally used Klook for my reservation!
If you buy tickets for Roppongi Hills on-site, you'll pay 2,600 JPY.
But if you book in advance, through Klook for example, it's approximately ~$8!

To enter the Azabudai Hills observation deck, you'll need to pay for
✅ one drink per person + a 500 JPY entrance ticket.
When I went, it was just one drink per person, but it seems they've added an entrance ticket too, which is a bit of a bummer! 😩
Even though you have to pay for the drink and the entrance separately,
I don't think it's overly expensive compared to other observation decks like Shibuya Sky!
The view of Tokyo Tower from Azabudai Hills is quite similar to Roppongi Hills,
However, Roppongi Hills offers more extensive 360-degree views.
So, personally, I found Roppongi Hills to be a bit more satisfying than Azabudai Hills!
Shibuya Sky Observation Deck

One of the absolute best places to soak in a 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo city is undoubtedly Shibuya Sky Observatory.
The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and the night views are simply stunning,
so if you're searching for an expansive, unobstructed panoramic view, this should be your top pick!
🚨 Just a heads-up, tickets for popular time slots sell out super fast here, so
once your travel dates are firm, I highly recommend checking Shibuya Sky tickets as your first step!
You'll find that Shibuya Sky Observatory tickets have different prices for daytime and evening slots:

The Culture and Tourism Center is a fantastic free observation deck located right in Asakusa.
From here, you can get a sweeping view of both Sensoji Temple and the Skytree
in one glance! *.*
While the Skytree view is impressive, the real highlight here is the stunning Sensoji landscape – it's perfect for snapping some amazing photos and videos!

If seeing Tokyo's nightscape from the absolute highest point in the city is on your bucket list, then Skytree is undoubtedly the place to go.
Advance reservations allow you to secure your preferred time slot,
so I highly recommend booking your visit in advance!
Skytree boasts two fantastic observation points: the Tembo Deck at 1️⃣350m and
the Galleria at 2️⃣450m.
