Moonoka Hotel Exterior

On my last Tokyo trip, some hotels played hide-and-seek with me, making them a bit tricky to spot. So, I really appreciated that Moonoka Hotel proudly displays its name, making it super easy to find! No confusing architecture here, just a clear sign welcoming you.

This is the check-in reception area. While it might not have the opulent feel of a 4 or 5-star luxury hotel, it definitely has its own unique charm and felt perfectly welcoming. Honestly, when you’re on vacation, everything just feels great, right? 👍🏻

There's even a public restroom available, which is super convenient if you need to freshen up before heading out or after checking out.

The elevator was a bit compact. But if you've stayed in Japanese hotels before, this size is probably pretty familiar, so it wasn't a shock. Up until this point, everything felt standard. But prepare yourselves, because the real surprise begins now!
The Room Experience

When you step out of the elevator, guess what? It feels like your floor is practically just *your* room! Such a unique layout.

Are those wooden doors on the left leading to other rooms, you ask? Nope! I opened them to find a private restroom and extra bedding. It’s like having a little private hallway!

Does this room look spacious to you?

It absolutely is! Prepare to be amazed!

And get this – there’s even a proper table! Not in a communal area, but right inside your own room! With a convenience store directly in front of the hotel, it was absolutely perfect for grabbing some snacks and drinks to enjoy a relaxed evening in.

And friends, let me tell you, the bathroom was much better than I expected! Seriously, this is Japan! And in Tokyo’s bustling Ginza, no less! While it might be a *tad* further from the nearest subway station, it’s definitely a strong recommendation, especially if you’re not traveling with elderly parents who might prefer being right next to a station.
Booking Your Stay
You can book the Moonoka Hotel through either Booking.com or Agoda. Make sure to compare prices between the two to find the best deal for your trip!
