1. Tokyo DisneySea Ticket Prices & How to Book

When you're getting ready to purchase your Tokyo DisneySea tickets,
the absolute first thing you'll want to check is
your visit date and any applicable discount prices.
Because Tokyo Disney Resort admission tickets use variable pricing (meaning prices change by date),
even for the same 1-day passport, the cost will differ depending on your chosen visit day.
While putting this post together, I did the legwork for you! I compared Tokyo DisneySea ticket prices from a total of five platforms:
MyRealTrip, Klook, Trip.com,
KKday, and NOL.
For my comparison in this post, I used the criteria of a weekday in November 2026, for one adult.

From time to time, each travel platform offers special Japan discount events, depending on the season.
While researching for this post, I found that Klook displayed the cheapest price at ~$64 during my latest check.
Just a heads-up: I personally tried applying additional discount codes from both Klook and KKday, but unfortunately, they didn't work for DisneySea admission tickets.
It seems some products are simply excluded from coupon discounts, depending on the vendor.
So, instead of blindly trusting that a discount code always exists and going through the tedious process of logging into every single platform,
it's most accurate to compare the prices I've already researched for you, specifically those confirmed at the actual payment stage. '◡'
Platform | Price for 1 Adult (as checked) |
Klook [ Check ] | ~$64 |
KKday [ Check ] | ~$71 |
Trip.com [ Check ] | ~$68 |
NOL | ~$71 |
MyRealTrip | ~$71 |

2. How to Purchase Tokyo DisneySea DPA, and the Actual Booking Order After 'Open Run'

Category | App Download |
iPhone (iOS) | |
Galaxy/Android |

If you want to make the most of Tokyo DisneySea rides,
it's a good idea to know how to purchase DPA.
DPA stands for Disney Premier Access
(Disney Premier Access),
a paid service that allows you to enjoy popular attractions
faster than the regular queue at a designated time,
or use designated viewing areas for shows.
What's important is that Tokyo DisneySea DPA must be
purchased separately from your park ticket! 😇
After entering the park with your admission QR code,
you select the target facility and usage time on the
official Tokyo Disney Resort App to purchase it.
(That's why you need to download the Disney app in advance)
Popular attractions might sell out early,
so it's best to check for your desired DPA
immediately after entering the park, right?
In short, it means you might not be able to buy it even if you're willing to pay! 😇

Tokyo DisneySea 'Open Run': What time did I get in?
I arrived at the Tokyo DisneySea entrance
around 8:30 AM.
I gave up on a full 'open run'~ haha
The entrance queue was incredibly long,
but it moved faster than I expected,
and I entered the park around 8:50 AM.
On the day of my visit, entry started
earlier than the official announced time.
However, this early entry can vary
depending on the date and operational circumstances,
so it's not guaranteed to be the same time every day!
FYI, guests staying at internal hotels can enter earlier

As soon as we entered,
the very first thing we did was purchase Frozen DPA.
Since it's a popular attraction in Fantasy Springs,
your desired time slots can disappear quickly.
Here's a quick summary of the actual Tokyo DisneySea DPA purchase
and itinerary:
Time | Actual Itinerary | Key Point |
08:30 | Arrive at DisneySea Entrance | Wait for entry |
08:50 | Enter Park | Purchase Frozen DPA |
09:30 | Arrive at Fantasy Springs | Explore the area |
09:55 | Enter Restaurant near Rapunzel | Early meal |
~10:30 | Purchase Rapunzel & Believe DPA | Additional purchase via app |
10:50 | Ride Rapunzel | Use DPA |
~16:38 | Ride Frozen | Use DPA |
20:15 | Believe! Show | DPA viewing area |
※ This itinerary is based on the actual path taken during the visit.
|
You cannot purchase multiple DPA passes at once.
If you successfully purchase one, an hour later,
you can purchase another one.
So, if two people are visiting, both of you should
try to purchase them individually on the Disney app~
After purchasing DPA, you can choose your desired ride time
for the attraction within the app.
I actually visited Disneyland in between as well.
I'll share the story of visiting both DisneySea and Disneyland
in one day in a future post.
They are not currently selling combo tickets.

Things to Know When Buying a DPA
The Tokyo DisneySea DPA allows you to experience attractions at the specific time slot you selected when purchasing. This means no waiting in long lines!
Even with a DPA, extremely popular attractions might still have a very slight wait.
(Beauty and the Beast, Frozen had a slight wait)
But if you just queue up normally? You're looking at several hours, easily~
So anyway, before you purchase a DPA, you really need to consider your other ride reservations, dining plans, and show schedules.
Since DPAs are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable after purchase, it's best to choose your time slot carefully.
We actually bought a DPA for 'Believe!' but were so tired from walking around all day that we almost considered skipping the show.
However, since cancellation wasn't an option, we ended up watching it as planned.
Even though we were tired, watching 'Believe!' was definitely worth it! ^^*

3. Tokyo DisneySea Ride Recommendations: My Review of 4 DPA Purchases

During this Tokyo DisneySea trip, I personally purchased a total of four DPAs.
Frozen, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, and the nighttime spectacular, Believe!
All of them are incredibly popular, but my satisfaction level varied slightly. I'll tell you which ones I think are absolute must-sees!
Tokyo DisneySea DPA Price Comparison
DisneySea DPA | Price per person | Actual Experience Review |
Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey | 2,500 yen | Approx. 12 min wait, approx. 6 min 30 sec ride |
Rapunzel's Lantern Festival | 2,000 yen | Almost no wait, approx. 5 min ride |
Beauty and the Beast | 2,500 yen | Almost no wait, approx. 5 min ride |
Believe! Sea of Dreams | 2,500 yen | View nighttime show from designated area |
Total | 9,500 yen | Total for 2 people: 19,000 yen |
※ These are the DPA prices for DisneySea that I personally purchased during my recent visit.
For two people, we spent almost ~$121 just on DPAs.
Phew. If you add the entrance tickets and snacks, well, what more can I say~ But it's totally worth the experience!
① Frozen — Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey

The Frozen ride at Tokyo DisneySea is an incredibly popular attraction in Fantasy Springs.
We purchased a DPA right after entering around 8:50 AM, intentionally choosing a 4 PM time slot. The morning slots were already fully booked anyway.
When it was actually my turn, after entering with the DPA, I waited for about 12 minutes, and the ride itself lasted approximately 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
You get to enjoy scenes from Frozen while riding a boat. Perhaps because my expectations were so high, I wasn't as moved as I thought I'd be, even though I absolutely adore Frozen. Maybe it's because I'd seen so many reviews beforehand! ^^
Nevertheless, the DPA was definitely worthwhile because it allowed us to skip the regular queue and enjoy the ride at our preferred time.
|
② Rapunzel — Rapunzel's Lantern Festival

The Rapunzel ride at Tokyo DisneySea is an attraction where you ride a boat and immerse yourself in scenes from the movie. It's especially famous for its breathtaking lantern sequence!
We used our DPA at 10:50 AM, and we were able to board almost immediately with virtually no wait!!
The regular queue was incredibly long, so we definitely felt the full benefit of having a DPA.
However, the ride time was only about 5 minutes!
The atmosphere was truly beautiful, but it ended quicker than I thought,
so it felt a little disappointing. It ended too quickly~
If you want to directly experience the world of Rapunzel
that you've only seen in photos and videos,
this is an attraction worth trying at least once.
|
③ Believe! Sea of Dreams

Believe! Sea of Dreams is
a nighttime fireworks show held at Tokyo DisneySea's Mediterranean Harbor.
With projection mapping, lights, music,
and characters all coming together, it's
a quintessential nighttime spectacle at DisneySea.
We paid 2,500 yen per person
and watched from the designated DPA viewing area.
But here's a tip!
Just because you bought DPA
doesn't necessarily guarantee the best view.
However, those who didn't buy it
were really sitting down to secure a spot 4-5 hours in advance! It was incredibly crowded! So glad I bought DPA
The show itself was truly beautiful and offered plenty to see, but
considering the DPA price,
I realized that choosing your seat is really important.
If you want to choose a good seat, you need to buy this early too.
I hesitated and ended up booking in the afternoon,
which meant there was a limited selection of seats left.
I'll provide a detailed post about Believe! DPA seating, views,
and recommended viewing locations
in a separate post.

|
Which DPA, having used it myself, would I recommend?
The biggest advantage of Tokyo DisneySea attraction DPA is
reducing wait times.
You know that feeling of confidently entering, like a FastPass, right?
Especially for popular attractions like Frozen or Rapunzel,
it's worth considering DPA, **especially if your travel itinerary is short.**
However, since the price is quite high,
you probably don't need to buy every single DPA.
Allocate your DPA budget first to the attractions you absolutely want to ride,
and for show DPAs like Believe!, decide based on your energy levels and daily schedule.
If you're going with several friends, one strategy is for one person to buy DPA
while another quickly queues up for a popular attraction~

4. Tokyo DisneySea Tickets & DPA: Frequently Asked Questions

Q 1. Should I buy Tokyo DisneySea tickets in advance?
It's recommended to buy them in advance if possible.
Tokyo DisneySea admission tickets
are date-specific, so
it's a good idea to check the availability and price for your desired date beforehand.
Especially on busy days like weekends or public holidays, you'll definitely want to!
as they only admit a limited number of guests~
|
Q2. Can I purchase Tokyo DisneySea DPA before entering the park?
No.
General visitors can purchase DPA
through the official Tokyo Disney Resort App
after entering the park.
Even if you buy your admission ticket in advance,
you can't reserve DPA beforehand.
Therefore, if your goal is to get a DPA for a popular attraction,
it's important to quickly check the sales status on the app
after entering. That's why everyone seems to do an "open run" (rush in right at opening time)!
|
Q3. Is it mandatory to buy Tokyo DisneySea DPA?
It's not mandatory.
You can still use attractions
through the regular standby line without DPA.
However, for popular attractions like Frozen or Rapunzel,
wait times can be long, so
if you want to save time, buying DPA is a good option~
On the other hand, for the Believe! Sea of Dreams DPA,
depending on the viewing area and sightlines,
satisfaction levels can vary,
so I recommend choosing carefully.
Between DisneySea and Disneyland,
Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland was my absolute favorite.
Followed by Rapunzel, and then Frozen^^

For Tokyo DisneySea tickets,
be sure to compare not only prices by date but also discount benefits from different vendors!
If you purchase DPA for Frozen, Rapunzel, and Believe! Sea of Dreams,
all like we did,
it adds about ~$45 per person,
but considering it lets you reduce wait times
for the rides you absolutely want to experience,
it was a choice well worth considering.
Especially for a trip by an "old-timer" like me who needs to conserve energy, haha!
Next time, I'll organize a separate post about Tokyo DisneySea's 25th anniversary
and the Christmas event schedule.

It's impossible to cover Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea in just one post...
Don't watch too many videos when planning your trip either.
It might spoil some of the fun~ There's also joy in exploring without too many spoilers, you know! ^^
