1. Tokyo Disneyland vs. DisneySea

Tokyo Disney Resort is made up of two incredible theme parks: Disneyland (land) and

DisneySea (sea).

In particular, DisneySea is the

only ocean-themed park in the world,

making it an absolute must-visit for travelers!

2. Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary

📅 DisneySea 25th Anniversary Event Period

April 25, 2026 – March 31, 2027

This year, DisneySea celebrates its 25th anniversary,

beautifully decorated under the theme "Sparkling Jubilee."

The gorgeous Jubilee Blue colors and shimmering lights

match the ocean theme of DisneySea perfectly! 💙

From the outfits of the Disney characters and staff

to balloon merch, park decorations, and even the special parade program—

everything is celebrating the 25th anniversary! 🎉

If you want to snap some stunning aesthetic photos,

make sure to coordinate your outfit with blue tones! 🩵

3. Rope Drop Experience

I decided to challenge myself with a weekday rope drop! 🏃‍♀️

This was actually my second time trying a rope drop at Tokyo DisneySea.

My first run was during the grand opening of 'Fantasy Springs,'

and compared to that, the 25th-anniversary rope drop felt much more manageable and relaxed!

Even so, I woke up at 4:00 AM

and managed to arrive at DisneySea by around 7:00 AM.

Time	Schedule
7:00 AM	Joined the DisneySea queue
8:30 AM	Baggage check & entry starts
8:50 AM	Finally inside!

‼️ Just a heads up, the Disney Resort Line

monorail starts running at 6:00 AM,

so if you arrive before then, you'll need to walk.

🚆 Monorail Fare: 260 yen

If you do walk, it takes about 20 to 25 minutes

from JR Maihama Station to DisneySea.

📌 Open Run Essentials

A light breakfast, water, a parasol,

a picnic mat (optional), and a portable power bank

Since you'll be up super early, it's a great idea to pack some quick

breakfast bites like rice balls or sandwiches and snacks.

A parasol is an absolute lifesaver because the sun gets incredibly hot...!

Even though it was only May, so many people were using parasols.

4. DPA (Disney Premier Access)

Tokyo DisneySea has a system called DPA,

which stands for Disney Premier Access.

Simply put, it's a paid FastPass that lets you skip

the long lines for popular attractions.

DPA is available for specific attractions,

and it costs around 1,500 to 2,000 yen per person per ride.

You can purchase DPA through the Tokyo Disney Resort App.

Only credit card payments are accepted, and it's on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once you have your DPA, just scan your

QR code at the dedicated DPA lane of the attraction.

Since your entry is scheduled for a specific time window, make sure you don't miss it!

Pro-Tip

DPA can get pretty pricey...!

If you want to save that money and still beat the crowds:

❶ Head in early (Open Run)

❷ Use the Single Rider lane!

If you enter early and head straight to Fantasy Springs,

you can get on the rides with almost zero wait time.

Thanks to my early start, I managed to ride Rapunzel's Lantern Festival in just 10 minutes!

By the time I walked out, the wait time had already jumped to 70 minutes.

▪️ Peter Pan's Never Land Adventure

If you don't mind riding separately from your friends (or if you're traveling solo),

definitely make the most of the Single Rider lines.

I used the Single Rider line for Peter Pan and got on in under 10 minutes!

Just keep in mind that the Single Rider option can sometimes be temporarily suspended.

In fact, when I visited, Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey

wasn't running its Single Rider line at all ㅠㅠ
