📍 Tokyo Disneyland
1-1 Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba 279-0031 Japan
Fun fact: Tokyo Disneyland
isn't actually in Tokyo! It's located in the neighboring prefecture of "Chiba."
Minami's hometown!!!!! 🇯🇵
The closest station is ✅ JR Maihama Station.
From there, you can easily walk or take the Disney Resort Line monorail to the park entrance!
How to Get to Tokyo Disneyland

There are two main ways
to get to Disneyland from Tokyo:
1️⃣ Take the JR Keiyo Line subway from Tokyo Station
2️⃣ Take a direct highway bus
These are the most popular options!
While some hotels offer free shuttle buses,
the JR train is usually the easiest and most common way to go.

✅ Tokyo JR Keiyo Line Route
Tokyo Station → Hatchobori Station → Etchujima Station → Shiomi Station → Shin-Kiba Station → Kasai-Rinkai Park Station → Maihama Station
📢 Get off at "Maihama Station" for Disneyland!
Just hop on the JR Keiyo Line from whichever station is closest to your hotel,
and ride it all the way to Maihama!
▪️ Travel Time: Approx. 13–14 minutes from Tokyo Station via Rapid train
▪️ Fare: 220 yen (Children: 110 yen)
Tokyo Disneyland Ticket Types

The most common ticket option
is the 1-Day Passport.
✔️ This is the standard ticket that lets you enjoy the park
from opening until closing!
Regular Tickets | |
Ticket Name | Features |
1-Day Passport | ▪️ Most basic ticket ▪️ Full-day access from open to close |
The same applies to DisneySea tickets!
Since Disneyland and DisneySea are two completely separate parks, you cannot visit both on a single standard ticket.
You cannot enter DisneySea with a Disneyland ticket,
so if you plan to visit both parks, you need to purchase tickets for
"each" one individually.

But what if you want to experience both Disneyland and DisneySea?
While buying individual tickets is one way,
using the seasonal "Hopper Passport"
can be much more cost-effective depending on the season!
Limited-Time Special Tickets
Ticket Name | Features |
1-Day Park Hopper Passport | ▪️ July 1, 2026 ~ September 14, 2026 ▪️ Visit either Disneyland or DisneySea until 11:00 AM, and freely hop between both parks after 11:00 AM for the rest of the day! |
So, if you are planning to visit both
Disneyland and DisneySea,
📌 it's highly recommended to compare the price with a Hopper Passport!
I'll break down the detailed price comparison below! *.*
Tokyo Disneyland Ticket Price Comparison

Based on late August Disneyland Passport prices
Klook | MyRealTrip | Trip.com |
~$52 | ~$55 | ~$53 |
Disneyland tickets can be booked up to 2 months in advance.
Comparing three major travel booking platforms,
Klook was the cheapest at the time of writing.
If you're traveling with a larger group or family, the price difference can add up quickly,
so I highly recommend checking and comparing before you book!

Tokyo Disneyland ticket prices vary depending on the date.
Days expected to have higher crowds will
the prices are a little higher than on other days
Hopper Passport vs. Disneyland/DisneySea
▼ Price comparison when searching for the lowest price on Klook ▼
Hopper Passport | Disneyland | DisneySea |
~$90 | ~$52 | ~$52 |
~$90 | ~$105 |
Using the Hopper Passport to visit both Disneyland and DisneySea
is ~$16 cheaper than buying them separately!
Since the Hopper Passport is a limited-season ticket,
✔️ First, check if your travel dates fall within the valid period
✔️ If your dates align, definitely use the Hopper Passport!

The Hopper Passport is divided into Disneyland-first and DisneySea-first options,
depending on which park you want to enter first.
👉 Simply decide which park you want to explore first and purchase your ticket!

When searching for a Disneyland Hopper Passport on the same date,
Klook was still cheaper even when compared to MyRealTrip's price with an active 5% discount!
Once the discount promotion ends, Klook is about ~$5 cheaper.
So if you're planning a family trip to Disneyland, booking through the more affordable Klook is the smartest choice.

Disneyland Map

Tokyo Disneyland doesn't hand out paper maps
inside the park anymore.
So, I highly recommend downloading the park map
from the official website below before you go!
Popular attractions especially have shorter wait times in the morning,
often reaching over 1.5 hours by the afternoon.
Checking the map in advance and planning the order of the rides you want to hit
will make your route much more efficient!
👉 Download Disneyland & DisneySea Maps
Tokyo Disneyland is structured with
6 themed lands surrounding the World Bazaar.
Each land has its own distinct theme and signature attractions!

World Bazaar | Right at the entrance Packed with shops & restaurants |
Adventureland | Jungle & Caribbean theme 'Pirates of the Caribbean' |
Westernland | Wild West frontier theme 'Big Thunder Mountain' |
Critter Country | Animal-themed area 'Splash Mountain' |
Fantasyland | Cinderella Castle Classic Disney characters |
Toontown | Mickey, Minnie Mouse, etc. Primary character meet-and-greet zone |
Tomorrowland | Sci-Fi theme, 'Space Mountain' |
Since it takes about 30 to 40 minutes just to walk around the park once quickly,
looking at the map to decide when and where to go
✔️ and mapping out your route in advance
is the best way to see everything you want and truly enjoy your day!

Tokyo Disneyland is a place where just knowing the ticket types
makes your trip planning so much easier.

Especially if you plan to visit both Disneyland and DisneySea,
I highly recommend comparing the price of the Hopper Passport with two 1-day tickets before booking! *.*
Popular dates sell out incredibly fast,
so if visiting Disneyland is on your Tokyo bucket list,
lock in your dates and book as soon as possible! :D
