Is it even a trip to Bali without hitting a beach club?

During my time in Bali, I made it a mission to visit a beach club every single day.

Along the way, I stumbled upon what might just be the absolute best sunset spot on the island,

and I can't wait to share it with you!

The Lawn Beach Club is nestled right along Batu Bolong Beach

in the vibrant heart of Canggu.

It is perfectly positioned next to a local surf school,

meaning you can sip your drink while watching surfers catch waves in the afternoon sun.

✅ Why I Chose The Lawn Beach Club

✔️ I was torn between La Brisa and The Lawn since they aren't too far apart.

Ultimately, I wanted to experience something a bit more fresh

and slightly less overexposed on social media,

which led me straight to choosing The Lawn.

✔️ Location-wise, it was a dream—only a 10-minute walk

from my resort in Canggu!

My plan was to catch the sunset at the beach club,

walk back to the hotel to freshen up, and then head out for dinner.

The proximity made it incredibly convenient.

After a quick 10-minute stroll from my hotel,

I arrived at The Lawn! There is a bag check at the entrance

(just a heads-up: selfie sticks and outside bottled water are strictly prohibited).

Since we didn't have a reservation, we were guided to the walk-in seating options

and headed inside!

✅ How to Book a Spot at The Lawn Canggu

You can easily make a reservation through their official website

or via WhatsApp.

HOWEVER, during the peak sunset hours of

4:00 PM to 7:00 PM,

they ONLY accept walk-ins!

I reached out via WhatsApp to double-check,

and they confirmed that reservations aren't available

during this prime sunset window.

We arrived just after 5:00 PM,

and by that time, almost all the prime seats were taken.

We only had options near the very back.

Initially, we wanted the budget-friendly "Poolside Chairs"

because we already had dinner reservations at Smoke Bali afterward,

but since those were full, we settled for what was available.

We ended up at a "Poolside Sofa" near the back.

Honestly? It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Being in the back row gave us an elevated, panoramic view of the entire club—

the pool, the daybeds, and the golden sunset melting into the ocean.

It was easily the best seat in the house for taking in the full view!

The pool itself isn't too deep,

but because it sits directly adjacent to the beach,

the ocean-meets-sunset view is absolutely spectacular.

The club also has direct beach access, so as the sky started turning

those magical shades of pink and orange, we walked right down onto the sand.

The combination of Bali’s ocean breeze and sunset

is pure magic.

Since we had dinner reservations lined up for later,

we decided to order a few premium items

to easily hit our table's minimum spend limit. haha!

We went with the "Grazing board" and the "beef nachos."

Honestly, the food was just okay... but the Beef Nachos

were actually quite tasty!

Based on my research, the crowd favorites here are

the tacos & chips, calamari, and beef nachos.

If you want a safe bet, you can't go wrong with their pizzas! :)

Floating in the pool with absolutely nothing on my mind,

just watching the sky turn gold—

it was one of those pure bliss moments.

It made me realize all over again why I keep coming back to Bali.

Since our resort was just a 10-minute walk away,

I wore a cover-up over my swimsuit and didn't need to use the changing rooms or showers.

However, I did check out the restrooms near the back,

and they were spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean.

Why I Highly Recommend The Lawn Canggu

✔️ Highly reasonable minimum spend options compared to other massive Bali beach clubs.

✔️ A perfectly sized pool designed for soaking in the views.

If you're hunting for a beach club that checks all these boxes in Canggu,

I highly recommend The Lawn.

It completely exceeded my expectations!
