Terelj National Park Souvenirs 2026: Turtle Rock Shop Guide

On my trip to Mongolia in September, on the last day, I visited Turtle Rock near Terelj National Park.

While I was there, I also made a stop at the Turtle Rock souvenir shop right next door –

This specialty souvenir shop is conveniently located right in front of Turtle Rock in Terelj National Park,

offering a fantastic selection of traditional Mongolian handicrafts and travel mementos.

Step inside, and you'll find an interior designed like a cozy ger dome, mirroring the exterior!

It's not overwhelmingly vast, but it's certainly not cramped either, and every corner is wonderfully packed with treasures waiting to be discovered.

What really caught my eye were the animal furs.

I initially wondered if they were fake, but they were absolutely real! The fur was incredibly soft, and I was so tempted to buy one,

but I reasoned it might not be very practical back home... Plus, they were quite expensive.

I think encountering animals in various forms like this is just part of the incredible wild beauty of Mongolia.

Mini Ger Models: Incredible Detail, Mongolian Charm

These charming handmade ger models are miniature replicas of Mongolia's traditional nomadic homes!
