Duut Resort Tsenkher Hot Spring Review: September Trip
Join us for a peaceful escape to Duut Resort, nestled near Mongolia's Tsenkher Hot Spring. Get an insider's look at our September stay and find out what to pack for the pools!

When I went on a Mongolia semi-package tour in September,
the accommodation for the Tsenkher Hot Springs, which was included in the semi-package,
was the tranquil and atmospheric Duut Resort. I'll share my review of our stay there,
and we'll also look into the dress code for swimwear at Tsenkher Hot Springs.

There are various resort accommodations at Tsenkher Hot Springs.
However, while the available accommodations vary depending on the semi-package,
the Mongolia semi-package I used
had Duut Resort as its accommodation, a place with very clean facilities.

At Duut Resort, the accommodation spaces are divided between gers and cabin facilities.
Since the ger was reserved for the last night,
I ended up staying in a wooden cabin hotel at Duut Resort.

The weather in Mongolia in September is simply wonderful, with cool breezes blowing.
This means you can enjoy the Tsenkher Hot Springs without feeling too hot,
and it almost felt like a Japanese ryokan experience.

Beyond the local Mongolians, many other travelers also seemed to be
thoroughly enjoying their trip to Mongolia.
While enjoying the hot springs at Tsenkher, there's also a cold pool right next to it,
making it perfect for alternating between hot and cold dips.

When entering Tsenkher Hot Springs, a swimsuit is essential,
or comfortable Japanese-style attire is also permitted.
You can prepare according to what you find most comfortable.
While most people typically pack a swimsuit,
it was also a good idea to wear clothes that don't absorb water.

The hot springs were great, but the gers also had pretty clean facilities,
making Duut Resort an excellent choice!
However, if you're planning to stay in a Mongolian ger,
as they are set up in vast grasslands, a crucial Mongolia essential item you absolutely need is
a personal mosquito net!
While the Mongolia semi-package tour providers do prepare sleeping bags,
you should each bring your own personal mosquito net to avoid being startled by bugs or bitten by mosquitoes
while you sleep!

If you thought Mongolia's September weather would be hot, you're in for a big surprise!
You can think of it as Korean autumn weather, and a thin shirt
will be perfect to keep you from getting sunburned.
Duut Resort Dinner Area

At Duut Resort, the dinner area is not far from the accommodation area,
and the facilities are brand new and spotless.

The dinner space itself was so clean, from the tables to the chairs,
it almost made me wonder if I was truly in Mongolia!
The facilities were incredibly impressive, and with the Mongolian backdrop,
it felt like a truly immersive dining experience.

For our September trip to Mongolia, Duut Resort offered coffee beans at each table,
and dishes were served one by one, like a course meal.
You simply stayed seated, and as soon as you finished one dish,
they would bring out the next one.
The food we had at Duut Resort in Mongolia
had absolutely no strong spice odors or anything like that, making it delicious and
prepared wonderfully for everyone to enjoy.

Mongolia's September weather is absolutely perfect for enjoying a hot spring bath at night.
It was lovely in the morning too, but in the evening it gets even cooler,
and with the warm water, many travelers were taking advantage of it.
Since we only stayed one night at Tsenkher Hot Spring Duut Resort,
my travel companions and I made sure to enjoy the hot spring in the morning,
and we enjoyed it together again in the evening! :D

What's more, the September evening sky in Mongolia is incredibly clear, with clouds like works of art.
And since the surroundings are vast grasslands, you can even see countless stars,
making Mongolia utterly overflowing with romance.
Relaxing your fatigue in the hot spring bath while gazing at the night sky,
and seeing the stars in the Mongolian night sky is a feeling you all probably can't imagine! :D
I believe only those who have experienced it truly know!!
Mongolia can be challenging to travel alone,
