01 A Hip Takamatsu Izakaya |
When you think of a Japanese izakaya, traditional wooden interiors often come to mind. But KAZMART offers a refreshing change with its undeniably hip and sophisticated ambiance.

Located at the edge of Takamatsu's vibrant market, its chic facade was simply irresistible. We stumbled upon this izakaya-pub by chance, and I'm so glad we did!

02 Recommended for Second & Third Rounds |
We actually popped in for a quick drink before dinner, but KAZMART truly shines as a spot for your second or even third round after a meal. It's that kind of place!😊
The interior features stylish bar seating, high-top tables, and even partitioned sections perfect for groups looking for a more intimate setting.

With an extensive drink menu and a selection of light, satisfying snacks, KAZMART is highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique izakaya experience for their second or third stop of the night.
03 From Highballs to Cocktails |
KAZMART boasts an impressive array of beverages.
You'll find a fantastic selection of gin-based cocktails and various highballs, plus plenty of non-alcoholic beers and cocktails too.

Instead of the usual Asahi or Suntory, they proudly serve OHLOY, a local Takamatsu craft beer!❕ (I regret not trying it when I was there!)

Just glancing at the bar area, it's clear KAZMART is serious about its drinks, with an impressive display of bottles.

04 Udon, Sashimi, and Simple Snacks |
Of course, in Takamatsu, udon is practically a staple izakaya snack! But KAZMART offers more than just that.
✔ OUDON Udon dishes
✔ O-KAZ KAZMART's Signature Dishes
✔ OTSUKURI Sashimi
✔ OTSUMAMI Bar Snacks
✔ OYATSU Desserts, etc.
They offer a concise menu of easy-to-enjoy options.

Since we visited before dinner, we only had gin and tonics. Our complimentary appetizer was edamame, surprisingly seasoned with a savory miso paste – a unique twist!

I'd never had edamame prepared quite like that before, and it was surprisingly addictive – salty, yet I couldn't stop eating it!❕
While it's common in Japan for appetizers to come with a small charge, we even managed to ask for a second helping of this delicious starter!😁
While we didn't order a full meal, KAZMART was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink in a beautiful setting.

With drinks typically ranging from 500 to 900 yen, and food averaging around 900 yen, it's quite affordable. Plus, you can easily just order drinks without food, making it a great choice for solo travelers looking for a relaxed evening.👍
If you're exploring Takamatsu Market and looking for a stylish yet affordable place to enjoy a casual drink, KAZMART is definitely worth a visit!
Highly recommended for a hip izakaya experience in Takamatsu!
