Swiss Air Economy Review 2026: Incheon-Zurich A350 Flight

For my recent business trip to Switzerland, I flew from Incheon to Zurich

on a direct SWISS flight ✈️🇨🇭

And guess what? I got to fly on the new Airbus A350-900, which was recently introduced on the Incheon-Zurich route! I was secretly excited even before departure!

Since it's an aircraft featuring the new SWISS Senses cabin,

I was most curious to see what the Economy Class would be like!

So, in this post, I'll share my personal experience flying SWISS Economy Class,

focusing on the seats, inflight meals, and service.

🇨🇭 Meeting SWISS at Incheon Airport

After checking in at Incheon Airport, it was finally time to head to the gate!

Just the name SWISS itself felt like the perfect start to a Swiss adventure,

and I couldn't help but feel a little thrilled! 😊

This trip involved a long-haul flight (about 13 hours),

which made me a bit worried, but the fact that I could fly direct from Incheon to Zurich was definitely a huge advantage.

Being able to get straight to Zurich without any transfers meant I could save a little energy right from the start of the trip!

✈️ My ride: The new A350-900

And the plane I flew on was none other than the Airbus A350-900!!

Since SWISS recently introduced this aircraft to the Incheon-Zurich route,

I was curious to see what differences it would have compared to the SWISS I knew.

It looked massive and sleek from the outside! ✨

Most importantly, since it’s an aircraft with the new SWISS Senses cabin,

I boarded with some high hopes for the Economy Class.

💺 What's SWISS Economy Class like?

Once on board, the overall atmosphere was clean and modern.

On long-haul flights, you spend so much time in your seat,

so I tend to prioritize seat comfort. And among all the planes I've flown,

this Economy Class had the most comfortable and spacious seats!

The personal monitor was generously sized, perfect for watching movies or TV shows.

Plus, it had all the personal device amenities you secretly need on a long flight, like USB charging!

A blanket, pillow, and earphones were provided as standard,

and soon after takeoff, everyone received a bottle of water!

The services just kept getting better… 👀✨

Honestly, I had researched it before boarding and was genuinely excited.

🥂 Inflight Services You Can Enjoy Even in Economy Class

Shortly after settling into my seat, the inflight service officially began.

First up were some simple nuts and a drink!

👉🏻Drink options: Champagne, red/white wine, various soft drinks, whisky, beer

The nuts were perfectly salty – just the right snack to go with a drink!! So delicious!

Since it was a long-haul flight, they even handed out a menu with inflight meals and drinks,

so you could enjoy the beverage service at your leisure!?

What's even cooler is that throughout the flight, you could go to the galley at the back and freely grab any drinks or snacks you wanted!

However, it was a bit hard to access easily since the crew was working there 😔

Anyway, let's dive into the inflight meal experience!

01. First Inflight Meal

Thanks to the service that started as soon as we boarded, time flew by,

and before I knew it, it was mealtime!

The Jjimdak was wonderfully savory! Since it was an Incheon departure, gochujang was also served,

and the chocolate mousse cake was absolutely delicious too!

With the meal, you could also choose a drink, so I ordered Italian champagne!🍾

It was perfect for taking my time eating and enjoying a movie.

02. Snack Time in Between

Snacks were served twice in total :)

Sandwiches and Haagen-Dazs ice cream!!! Just a heads-up: if you're asleep, they'll pass right by you!

03. Third In-Flight Meal

About an hour and 40 minutes before landing, the final meal is served!

And that final meal was Stir-fried Udon!!!👻

The vegetable stir-fried udon tasted like Japchae! Such a pleasant surprise!

The fruit was all refreshingly tangy, and even a KitKat! So sweet! 🥹

This time, I tried pairing white wine with Sprite!

They served the wine wonderfully chilled, which I really appreciated.

And then, the absolute final snack!!!

And of course, what comes to mind when you think of Swiss Air?

Swiss chocolate, naturally! 🍫

Even before starting my trip to Switzerland,

I could already feel the Swiss vibe right from the airplane!

It's just a small snack, but it really sets the mood for starting your trip,

and I found these little details surprisingly delightful! 💕

The flight from Incheon to Zurich is a long-haul one, so before boarding,

I was worried because long flights tend to be physically draining for me these days,

I ate the in-flight meal → watched a movie → slept for a bit →

drank a beverage → watched another movie

and before I knew it, time passed much faster than I expected!

Especially with the personal entertainment system, I could spend my time much more comfortably than just staring at my phone.

This is exactly why seat comfort, in-flight meals, entertainment, and service are so crucial on long-haul flights.

And for the very final service, they handed out warm wet wipes!

Absolutely incredible thoughtfulness!!!

What I found most satisfying about flying with them this time was, of course, the fact that it's a direct flight from Incheon to Zurich!! You can travel directly to Zurich for your Swiss trip without any transfers, and this time, by flying on the newly introduced A350-900, I got to experience a spotless cabin and various in-flight services even in Economy Class.

Especially for long-haul flights, rather than just comparing airfare prices,

it's definitely better to compare what aircraft model it is / if it's a direct flight / what the seats are like / and what kind of in-flight meals and services are offered!!🤩
