Are you on the hunt for an incredible all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot in Daegu's Dalseo-gu district?
Finding a place where the whole family can comfortably feast on unlimited meat can be surprisingly tricky, right?

Recently, my family and I enjoyed a fantastic meal in Daegu, and we stumbled upon Himnaerago Sungdang, a restaurant renowned in the Sungdang-dong area for its excellent value.
Himnaerago Sungdang immediately impressed us with its spacious parking lot right out front, making our visit completely stress-free. The interior was also quite expansive, perfect for a large family gathering.
The prices for their all-you-can-eat BBQ vary depending on the time of day and the type of meat you choose.
Himnaerago Sungdang Pricing
Category | Pork | Beef |
Lunch | ~$13 | ~$17 |
Dinner | ~$15 | ~$19 |
Our family visited during lunchtime and opted for the all-you-can-eat pork course, priced at ~$13 per person.
Considering the rising costs of Korean BBQ these days, this felt like a very reasonable and competitive price for an unlimited meat feast in Sungdang-dong.

Many all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurants in other regions often have a limited selection of meats, but here, the variety was truly impressive! We enjoyed samgyeopsal (pork belly), moksal (pork neck), hangjeongsal (pork jowl), and even makchang (grilled pork intestines) and yeomtong (grilled pork heart).
The inclusion of makchang in an all-you-can-eat buffet was particularly noteworthy, as it's a specialty often only seen in Daegu. They even had a special Daegu-style makchang dipping sauce, which I'm sure makchang lovers will adore.

We primarily focused on grilling the hangjeongsal and makchang. The meat had no unpleasant odors and was incredibly flavorful, leaving everyone at our table fully satisfied.

Eating only meat can sometimes get a bit monotonous, right? But here, they offered a surprisingly diverse selection of side dishes.
From staples like fried chicken,튀김 (fried snacks), and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) to lighter options like sandwiches and gimbap (seaweed rice rolls), there was plenty to snack on while waiting for our meat to cook.

A particular highlight was the Han River-style ramen machine, perfect for a refreshing and hearty finish to our meal.

They also offered hearty meal options like doenjang-guk (soybean paste stew), beef soup, and bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables), which meant we didn't have to order separate rice dishes. This was a huge plus in my book!

As a popular restaurant near Sungdang Intersection, it can get quite busy with families, especially during weekend lunch hours.
It's less about a quiet, intimate atmosphere and more about a lively spot where you can eat your fill comfortably.
