Is Ssommoi Garden the perfect spot for your Nha Trang family vacation? We share our honest experience, covering the beautiful ambiance, must-try dishes, and service.

Are you planning a trip to Nha Trang and searching for the perfect dining spots?
I know the struggle! When I was organizing a big family vacation, deciding on a restaurant was one of the toughest choices.
So, today, I'm excited to share my honest review of Ssommoi Garden Nha Trang, a restaurant my extended family and I visited this past February 2026.

When you search for restaurants in Nha Trang city center, it can feel overwhelming with so many options.
I certainly felt that way! Initially, I considered other popular spots like Madam Phuong and Moc Restaurant. But I was completely captivated by Ssommoi Garden's unique dome-shaped garden ambiance and changed our dinner plans at the last minute.
It turned out to be a fantastic decision, setting a wonderful tone for our entire family trip!

Our visit coincided with Tet, Vietnam's major national holiday.
Even though prices were about 15% higher during this peak season, Ssommoi Garden was absolutely bustling with guests.

We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. The garden-style restaurant was so pleasant that we enjoyed taking photos while we waited.
One thing I did notice was that the clientele consisted mostly of international tourists, with a significant number of Korean visitors. So, if you're looking for a strictly local, off-the-beaten-path experience, this might feel a little different.
Given its popularity among travelers visiting Nha Trang, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, perhaps through their social media or a messaging app like KakaoTalk.
Since we were a large family, we ordered a variety of dishes across our tables, and overall, the menu satisfaction was high. The flavors were broadly appealing and well-received by everyone.

Here are the dishes we chose at my table! (Since we ordered separately across tables, I'll just show what we had.)
Banh Xeo & Nem Nuong
These two dishes are truly must-tries! The service of having a staff member wrap them for you in rice paper was incredibly convenient.

Especially the Banh Xeo – it was so popular that every table in our family ordered it! It was a definite crowd-pleaser.
When the food arrived, they first presented it for us to take pictures, then took it aside to meticulously wrap it in rice paper.

The Banh Xeo, wrapped in rice paper, was perfectly portioned and easy to enjoy individually.

You can get the same wrapping service for Nem Nuong, but we decided to try wrapping it ourselves for fun!

Wrapping the Nem Nuong ourselves was actually quite enjoyable. (Just a heads-up, if you wrap it yourself, you won't get extra rice paper delivered to your table!)
Beef Pho
My niece wanted to try the Beef Pho, so we ordered it.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how rich and clean the broth was. The Ssommoi Garden Pho is quite delicious, so I definitely recommend giving it a try!
Other Menu Items

The Stir-fried Morning Glory, a staple order in Vietnam, was also very tasty.

Other family members ordered dishes like Seafood Fried Rice, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Stir-fried Noodles. These were all consistently good, making it easy to find something for everyone without worrying about picky eaters.

One of the most satisfying aspects of our Ssommoi Garden experience was the friendliness of the staff.
Taking a group photo with a large family can be challenging, right? But at Ssommoi Garden, the staff proactively offered to take pictures for us, helping us capture precious memories right from the first day of our trip.

Ssommoi Garden in Nha Trang is less of a local's secret and more of a popular choice for travelers.
While it might not offer a deep dive into hyper-local cuisine, the spacious and comfortable environment made it perfect for dining with my in-laws and children.
The presence of English-speaking staff was also a huge plus, ensuring smooth communication throughout our meal.
The only minor downside was that prices were about 15% higher during the Tet holiday period we visited. If you're planning to travel during major holidays, remember to factor in these potential extra costs.
Nha Trang has many local eateries, but if you're looking for a comfortable and easy dining experience with your family, Ssommoi Garden is definitely a great option.

Yes, Ssommoi Garden's prices are set about 15% higher than usual during the Vietnamese holiday Tet. You should consider these additional costs if you plan to visit during the holiday.
When you order Banh Xeo and Nem Nuong, a staff member will personally wrap them in rice paper for you. While Nem Nuong can also be self-wrapped, rice paper is not provided separately in that case.
