Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ginza Nanachome Review 2026: Value & Prime Location
Seeking a fantastic value hotel in Ginza? The Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ginza Nanachome offers an unbeatable location, perfect for exploring Tokyo's best shopping and attractions on foot.
Near Ginza Station,
I was searching for a hotel with great value for money, ideally around ~$73 per night, and ended up booking
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ginza-Nanachome.
For a 'walking' traveler exploring Tokyo by subway, relying on public transport and their feet,
this location was simply unbeatable.

Both Ginza Station and Shimbashi Station are just a 5-6 minute walk away.
What's more, when you take the Narita Airport bus into the city,
the bus stop is conveniently close to the hotel.

For me, shopping at places like Muji, Uniqlo, GU, Don Quijote,
OK Mart, Daiso, and Standard Products was quite important,
and the fact that I could reach all of them within a 5-minute walk made me incredibly satisfied.

What I Loved About My Stay

1. A Perfect Location for Walkers & Public Transport Enthusiasts
- Ginza Station: 5-minute walk
- Shimbashi Station: 6-minute walk
(Yurikamome Line accessible)
- Don Quijote: 3-minute walk
- Daiso, Standard Products, Uniqlo, OK Mart:
5-minute walk
Once you see the amazing accessibility around here,
you'll instantly get why I picked this hotel for its stellar location.

In fact, on my first day, as I explored the vibrant surroundings,
I hardly needed to take the subway at all!
Tokyo's public transport can be quite expensive, but by choosing such a prime hotel location,
I found myself saving a significant amount on travel expenses!

2. Easy Access to the Narita Airport 1,500 yen Bus
The Narita Airport-Ginza 1,500 yen bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel,
and since it's a flat path with no uphill climbs,
you won't even need to bother with a taxi!
Not having to struggle with my suitcase up and down subway stairs
made the journey incredibly smooth and comfortable.
Room Types

The Double Room I stayed in was 11.9㎡,
exactly what you'd expect from a Japanese business hotel.
As I tend to only use my room for sleeping,
it was perfectly fine and comfortable for two people.
However, if you're looking for a more spacious option for two,
I recommend checking out the 13.9㎡ Comfort Double or the 14.8㎡ Twin Room.

For family adventures,
they also offer the convenient option of a Connecting Room!
It's a clever setup where a Comfort Double Room (13.9㎡) and
a Premium Twin Room (23.5㎡) are connected by a door, allowing guests to move freely between both spaces.
This arrangement can accommodate up to 5 people.

Just a heads-up, it's not a layout where
the rooms are separated by a central living space.
Instead, imagine two separate rooms seamlessly connected by a door.
When you're traveling with family or kids,
it offers the fantastic advantage of more space
compared to simply booking two separate Double Rooms.
Double Room Review

My travel partner and I
stayed in a non-smoking double room.
I brought two carry-on suitcases, and while they were great for packing light,
once we opened both of them,
moving around the room became a bit inconvenient.
Next time I make a reservation, I'll probably
choose the Comfort Double Room.

The thing that surprisingly impressed me the most here
was the bed.
It felt so comfortable, and it turns out it was a Simmons bed!
I have back issues, so if a hotel bed isn't right for me,
I usually feel it the very next day. But I slept so comfortably here – it was truly a dream!

And since it's right in the middle of Ginza,
I was a little worried about noise at first.
But perhaps because it's set back about a block from the main street,
it was quieter than I expected, allowing for a truly peaceful stay.

The bathroom has a bathtub,
which is a familiar and comforting setup for Japanese business hotels.
What's fantastic is that this hotel lets you freely pick up
amenities and bath salts from the lobby – an absolute delight after a day of exploring!

After walking around all day, I came back
and drew a bath with those lovely bath salts.
It was surprisingly blissful and exactly what I needed to recharge!

And let's talk about the hairdryer – it was great!
You know how frustrating it is when a hotel hairdryer's airflow is weak
and just adds to morning stress? Not here!
Here, the airflow was quite strong,
and it even had a separate scalp-drying mode – a thoughtful touch that really made a difference!

The hotel's first floor connects directly to a FamilyMart,
which was incredibly convenient for grabbing late-night snacks or drinks – a real game-changer when you're exploring late!

It was really convenient for exploring, with Ginza right at your doorstep,
and also made it super easy to hop over to Asakusa, Kappabashi, and Shinjuku!

Calling all serious Don Quijote shoppers!
This spot is a total game-changer!!
Since it's only about a 3-minute walk,
you can easily drop off your haul at the hotel and head right back out for more adventures!

If I were booking again,
for two people just needing a comfy spot to sleep, I'd go for the Standard Double Room,
but if you want plenty of space to spread out your luggage,
I'd definitely check out the Comfort Double Room.
And when I compared prices for the Comfort Double Room with free cancellation,
Trip.com had the best deal.
