Imagine driving over 10 hours from Cairo to reach Siwa,

a hidden gem deep in the Sahara Desert.

It might mean dedicating a whole day to travel, but for an authentic desert experience

during your Egypt trip, it's an unforgettable place that simply couldn't be skipped!

What's more, the accommodation is incredibly affordable,

and I specifically chose a place brimming with desert charm.

When I saw the price, I couldn't help but exclaim, 'All this for THIS price?!'

I was truly amazed, so let me share my review and recommendations for Siwa accommodation in Egypt.

Siwa Accommodation: Sleep in Siwa

For this Egyptian adventure in Siwa, my chosen accommodation was

the fantastic Sleep in Siwa hotel!

We booked it for 3 people for one night, including breakfast, for ~$27.

That's an incredible ~$9 per person – truly a budget traveler's dream!

Despite being such an affordable place, the hotel is incredibly charming and clean,

which explains why Sleep in Siwa is often fully booked!

We were so lucky to snag a reservation!

From the moment you step through the entrance, this Siwa accommodation is just stunning.

Can you believe this is a place that costs less than ~$10 per person? Seriously!

When booking hotels in Siwa, I always recommend comparing prices on Booking.com and Agoda

and reserving through whichever platform offers the best deal.

It's a smart way to ensure you get the best value!

Honestly, during that grueling 10-hour overnight drive from Cairo,

I started to question if I had really made the right decision to include Siwa in our itinerary.

Many thoughts crossed my mind, but the moment we stepped into the hotel,

I knew instantly we had made the right choice – it was absolutely gorgeous!

Even the walls of this accommodation are photo zones... I genuinely can't recommend it enough!

Sleep in Siwa Triple Room

Our triple room at Sleep in Siwa was located on the second floor.

While there wasn't an elevator,

the staff were incredibly kind and helped us with all our luggage.

The triple room featured three immaculately clean single beds.

I honestly didn't have huge expectations for a place that cost ~$9 per person,

but I was thoroughly impressed by how neat and tidy the interior was!

There was even space next to each bed to store luggage,

and individual power outlets were available for everyone.

While there wasn't air conditioning, the desert climate is quite dry,

so the fan kept us surprisingly cool.

(Though it might get a bit warm during peak summer!)

With a mirror and a fan,

this budget-friendly Siwa hotel proved that you don't need to splurge to have all the essentials!

The vibe on the second floor was pretty amazing as well.

And with a rooftop, it was absolutely perfect for stargazing at night.

The view from the window right by the bed was a sea of lush green trees,

making even this spot incredibly atmospheric!

Siwa Hotel Breakfast in Egypt

Seriously, the breakfast restaurant here is phenomenal...

Every single corner is a photo opportunity waiting to happen!

Since the Siwa accommodation was so stunning, I wanted to take tons of photos,

so I made sure to do my makeup diligently before heading out for breakfast.

I snapped photos before breakfast,

and even more after I ate.

Every single picture I took here turned out amazing!

And let me tell you, the breakfast restaurant view was absolutely stunning.

Right in front, you'll see olive trees, and next to them,

beautiful date palm trees. This place just oozes an insane amount of charm.

My phone camera just kept coming out, wanting to capture every moment!

I'm telling you, you just pick up your camera, and everything looks gorgeous! :)

What's more, I actually hadn't expected much from breakfast,

but the quality of the breakfast was beyond amazing!

It made me wonder if the owner was even making a profit!

Omelets, french fries, bread, yogurt, jam,

and even a bowl of ramyeon to top it all off!

Honestly, for a breakfast I hadn't expected much from,

I left feeling incredibly full and satisfied.

And another fantastic reason I recommend this place is

how incredibly kind the owner is.

Most people arrive in Siwa by overnight bus from Cairo,

which often means arriving in the early hours or morning.

(I was one of them!)

The owner was so kind and welcomed me personally in advance.

I was able to store my luggage in the common area beforehand,

and they even let me use the outdoor restroom.

Truly, exceptional hospitality!

The outdoor restroom even had a shower available,

so if you're feeling a bit dusty from travel or just want to freshen up,

it's a great option to take advantage of.
