The Signature Hoi An: Your Ideal Stay in Hoi An Old Town
A review of its Faifo Room, stunning pool, delicious breakfast, and relaxing spa!
Words & Photos by Traveler Mado
When I was looking for the perfect place to stay in Hoi An,
there was one thing that stood out as absolutely crucial for me:
it was definitely the proximity to the Old Town.
Because even if I was out exploring during the day,
I really wanted to easily stroll to the Hoi An Night Market or just wander around the Old Town
in the evenings.
And The Signature Hoi An, where I ended up staying this time,
is perfectly nestled right in the heart of Hoi An's Old Town,
making it just about a 5-minute walk to the vibrant Night Market,
and only around a 10-minute walk to the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge!
Talk about a convenient spot!

But after experiencing it firsthand,
while the location was indeed a massive plus,
I discovered so much more to love! From the swimming pool and spa to the gym and even daily activities,
there was an incredible variety of things to enjoy right within the hotel.
Today, I'll be sharing my personal review, starting with the location of The Signature Hoi An, where I stayed,
moving on to the rooms,
then delving into breakfast and dinner, the swimming pool, and the spa.
I'll be giving you all the details from my first-hand experience!

The Signature Hoi An: Location & Information
The Signature Hoi An
📍 The Signature Hoi An
21 La Hối, phường, Hội An, Đà Nẵng 51309 Vietnam
The Signature Hoi An is actually
a 5-star boutique hotel conveniently located right near Hoi An Old Town.
< Address >
21 La Hoi, Hoi An, Da Nang
Indeed, one of the primary reasons I chose this hotel was
its fantastic location.

Hoi An Night Market | 4 min walk |
Japanese Covered Bridge | 10 min walk |
Cong Cafe | 5 min walk |
Bai Choi Performance Stage | 8 min walk |
When night falls in Hoi An,
you'll often find yourself wanting to head back out to experience the lantern boats, the bustling night market, or simply soak in the Old Town's enchanting evening atmosphere.
And the best part? The ability to walk to these spots without needing to hail a taxi
was easily one of the most convenient aspects of my stay.

The hotel itself boasts a
charming boutique hotel style, beautifully incorporating Hoi An's iconic yellow buildings and warm wood interiors.
And within its walls, you'll find not just a restaurant, but also
a sparkling swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and even daily activities to keep you engaged.

What's more, for guests looking to explore beyond the Old Town,
they offer complimentary bicycle rentals and a convenient shuttle bus service to An Bang Beach.
This was super handy for getting around to other areas!
So, it's not just a hotel with a fantastic location;
it's truly the ideal spot to combine Old Town exploration with a luxurious hotel-staycation.
My Signature Faifo Room Experience

The Signature Hoi An truly stands out with its
distinct yellow exterior and beautiful wooden interiors, perfectly capturing Hoi An's unique charm.
It felt as if the traditional Vietnamese architectural ambiance you encounter while strolling through the Old Town
seamlessly flowed right into the hotel itself!

The room I stayed in was the Signature Faifo Room, a spacious 45m²,
perfect for up to 2 adults,
and 1 child.
As soon as I stepped into the room, my immediate thought was:
Wow, this space is much more generous than I expected!
There was plenty of room around the bed, and with
a table, chairs, and even a bench, it felt incredibly comfortable.
I could easily spread out my luggage without feeling cramped at all.

Just a heads-up, when it comes to the price for a 1-night stay in the Signature Faifo Room,
I found that Agoda offered the best rates.
Agoda | Trip.com |
~$117 | ~$123 |
Keep in mind that the final price can vary in real-time depending on the booking site and whether coupons or discounts are applied.
So, it's always a good idea to directly enter your dates and compare them yourself!

The bathroom here is connected to the room with an arched structure, making the space feel quite stylish and artistic.
Inside, you'll find a large bathtub, and with ample space around the sink and tub, it was very comfortable to use.

The water pressure was also great, and I barely experienced any inconvenience while using the bathroom during my stay!
If you're someone who prefers accommodations that embrace Hoi An's traditional atmosphere rather than the completely modern style of newly built hotels, I think you'll be truly satisfied here.
Breakfast & Dinner Dining Review

Breakfast and dinner are available at the Ngon Pho Hoi Restaurant on the first floor.
< Breakfast Operating Hours >
06:30 ~ 10:00

The buffet offered a diverse selection of dishes, ranging from local Vietnamese specialties to salads, fruits, and bread – plenty of options perfect for a light start to your day.
The ingredients were fresh and the food quality was high, so if you consider breakfast an important part of your stay, you'll be very satisfied with the taste.

Dinner isn't a buffet; instead, you can order from the à la carte menu.
The menu features a diverse selection, from Vietnamese dishes to seafood and signature specials, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality.

While having dinner, I also got to enjoy a live traditional Vietnamese performance that takes place every evening.
It was a fantastic two-in-one experience, as I could watch a free performance while dining, without having to go to a separate venue!
Swimming Pool & Daily Activities

The Signature Hoi An boasts such a wide array of facilities that you can easily spend a fulfilling day without even needing to step outside.
Let's introduce them in order. First, outdoors, you'll find a two-tiered swimming pool that wraps around the hotel's charming yellow buildings.

There are sunbeds around the pool and even a separate shower room, making it convenient to head straight back to your room after a swim.
While the pool isn't as massive as those at large resorts, it's perfectly sufficient for a quick dip or some relaxation.

What made The Signature even more special, though, were the daily activities they offered.
Depending on the day, they run various programs such as cooking classes, cycling tours, and coffee, tea, and cocktail experiences!

I even got to join a cooking class
where I personally placed the ingredients and created each dish one by one.
More than just a simple stay,
the hands-on experience of touching and tasting
was a truly memorable one.
The class wasn't too long,
making it easy to fit into my Old Town sightseeing schedule,
and it looked like a fantastic activity
for families with kids too!
Dinner & Spa

Right inside the hotel,
there's The Ginger Wellness Spa,
so I could enjoy a relaxing massage
without even needing to step outside.
Personally,
when you've been wandering around all day,
going back out again for a massage
can be a subtle hassle,
so the ability to relax in your room and then just head straight down,
getting your massage comfortably while feeling fresh and dry
without needing to travel sweaty, was truly wonderful.
< Operating Hours >
09:00 ~ 20:00

From traditional Thai massage
to hot stone therapy, herbal baths, and beyond,
they offer a wide array of spa treatments to choose from.
The staff were incredibly friendly,
and when I arrived for my spa treatment,
they even served a delicious welcome tea!
(Simply the best!)
Final Thoughts

Overall, The Signature Hoi An proved to be a wonderful place
to spend your time, even without leaving the hotel.
Most importantly, its convenient location meant you could walk
to both the night market and the Old Town.
With spacious rooms and amenities like a pool, restaurant, gym,
cultural experiences, and even a spa,
the time spent at the accommodation truly felt rich and fulfilling!

The staff were all incredibly kind
and attentive, ensuring
I felt completely at ease from check-in right through to using all the amenities
during my entire stay.
For those who wish to comfortably explore Hoi An Old Town on foot,
or prefer accommodation where Korean communication is possible,
and those seeking a great value-for-money accommodation in Hoi An
that doesn't compromise on room condition and facilities, this is the place I wholeheartedly recommend.

If you're looking to truly immerse yourself in Hoi An's unique charm and atmosphere,
I'm confident you'll have a wonderfully satisfying stay :)
