Folks, I learned a really big lesson this time.

I missed the first bus!

Even though I hurried early in the morning, I got lost inside Shinjuku Station and had to watch the bus depart right before my eyes.

I ran like crazy... but it left exactly on time, even though I was just one minute late...

What to do if you miss your bus

1. Immediately go to the ticket counter and check if there are any seats available for the next time slot.

2. If all buses are sold out, you should consider the Fuji Excursion (train), even if it's more expensive.

3. The best thing is to arrive at the terminal 30 minutes before departure!

Don't panic like I did; just remember Shinjuku Station South Exit and go straight.

The terminal can also be crowded, so allocating plenty of time is key.

How to Cancel a Booked Bus Due to Schedule Change and Get There

I had planned to return after dinner, so I booked the last bus at 8:05 PM.

But it was cold at Oishi Park and cloudy, making it difficult to see the sunset, so I decided to head back.

When I came straight down to try and rebook a bus, it was already sold out... there was one seat, but someone quickly grabbed it, so I ended up taking the train!

Trains: 1. Express (pricey, but you arrive early)

2. Local (transfer midway, arrives later)

And I, again, didn't have enough money on my transit card... haha.

I wanted to take the express, but I had to exchange currency and top up my card...

So I ended up taking the local train!

Still, I arrived in Shinjuku not as late as I expected!!
