'Shibuya Sky Observatory'
📍 Shibuya Sky

Famous for its breathtaking sunsets and glittering night views, #ShibuyaSky is incredibly popular.
⚠️ The best time slots sell out fast, so you need to book at least two weeks in advance if you want to catch the night view!
I decided to visit during the daytime—
and I'm here to share everything you need to know about ticket prices, how to book, and my honest review!

How to Book Shibuya Sky Tickets
I highly recommend booking your Shibuya Sky tickets online in advance rather than risking a walk-in.
Why?
🌟 Because it's cheaper! 🌟
| Price | Booking |
Klook (Daytime) | ~$20 | |
Klook (After 6 PM) | ~$25 | |
Trip.com (Daytime) | ~$20 | |
Trip.com (After 6 PM) | ~$25 |
These prices are based on a search for May 25, 2026—
exactly two weeks ahead of my booking date!
Tickets open up two weeks in advance, so be sure to secure those evening slots early.

When I searched for the 25th,
there were still spots available for both daytime and evening slots.
If you're planning to visit Shibuya Sky in late May,
✔️ make sure to book before they sell out! :)

How to Get to Shibuya Sky

Shibuya Sky is located right inside the massive
'Shibuya Scramble Square' complex.
📍 Shibuya Scramble Square
2 Chome-24-12 Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0002, Japan

I took the subway to Shibuya Station, and getting there was a breeze.
You can walk straight into Scramble Square right after getting off the train! *.*
Just follow the signs for Gate 2.

✔️ First, head up to the 14th floor of Scramble Square.
✔️ After a quick ticket check, hop into the dedicated observatory elevator to the 45th floor.
✅ Remember, you can only enter during your designated time slot.
They give you a 20-minute grace period from your booked time,
so try not to be late!
Shibuya Sky Observatory Review

As soon as you arrive on the 45th floor, look to your left.
You'll find a locker room designed for storing anything that might blow away.
You're required to store heavy bags, hats, and any loose items that could pose a dropping hazard before heading out to the open-air deck.
It makes the experience much more relaxing!

Honestly, I was on the fence about whether to add this to my itinerary.
But the moment I stepped out onto the deck, I immediately thought, "I am so glad I came."
The unobstructed, 360-degree views are simply spectacular. *.*

Since this spot is so famous for its sunset and night views,
I wondered if visiting during the day would feel underwhelming.
I couldn't have been more wrong—it completely exceeded my expectations!

Aside from the open-air rooftop, there's also an indoor observation corridor right next to it.
The views from in there are equally stunning, so definitely don't skip it! *.*
Pro tip: If you want to snap the perfect photo of Tokyo Tower,
the indoor deck is actually the best vantage point!

Offering sweeping, panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline,
Shibuya Sky lets you see both Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree in one majestic sweep.
Whether you're chasing daytime horizons or glittering nightscapes,
make sure to add this to your Tokyo bucket list! :)
