When planning a trip to China, your first thought is probably,

"Will I be able to get by without speaking Chinese?"

And naturally, you start worrying about how to get

from the airport to your hotel smoothly.

Especially in a massive city like Shenzhen, if it's your first time,

you're bound to feel a bit anxious the moment you land.

For my recent trip,

I needed to get from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport T3 to The Langham, Shenzhen.

To avoid wandering around aimlessly after a long flight,

~$6 difference this time.

But when you look at it from a family travel perspective,

that minor cost difference is absolutely worth it.

and at a massive, bustling place like the airport,

it's so easy to miss each other.

Plus, if you feel any pressure about communicating in Chinese,

even a minor mix-up can feel incredibly stressful.
