When I visited Bali, I noticed that the shopping prices were higher
compared to other Southeast Asian countries.
While staying in Seminyak, I explored the main shopping streets,
but I didn't really find anything I wanted to buy.
During my Bali trip, I visited Seminyak Bintang Market, and there were so many
great value products perfect for souvenir gifts, from hair essences starting around ~$1 to snacks.
I'm excited to share reviews focusing on the products
I personally bought and loved!

Seminyak Bintang Market: Location and Accessibility

Bali's Seminyak Bintang Market is located on the main street,
making it a popular spot for travelers from both East and West.
Its long operating hours make it convenient to drop by during your trip,
and it's perfect for a visit if you're in the Seminyak area.
I stayed in a Seminyak pool villa, and it was just a 5-minute walk away,
so I found myself popping over quite often.
The surrounding boutique shops tend to be pricey,
so this was a fantastic place for great value souvenir shopping.
The prices are fantastic, and the variety is incredible!
Must-Buy Food & Drink Souvenirs
For your Bali shopping list, I highly recommend coffee and chocolate –
they simply taste fantastic! The chocolates, in particular, are on par with what I've tasted in Europe, absolutely no compromise on quality.
The Luwak drip bag coffee is super convenient to enjoy, so I picked up a few packs as gifts.
It has a surprisingly deep and rich flavor for a supermarket drip coffee, so I definitely recommend it!
It's one of those products I wished I'd bought more of when I got home!
Kintamani coffee beans are an affordable souvenir, costing about ~$2 per pack.
If you gift this to coffee lovers, they'll surely praise your excellent taste! Haha.
Bali is one of the world's top four coffee-producing countries,
so you'll find an incredibly diverse range of bean varieties here.
The Kintamani beans I mentioned earlier are grown in high-altitude regions,
giving them a distinct refreshing quality. They lean towards a lighter,
brighter profile rather than a heavy one, making them a consistently safe and delightful gift.
And of course, the price is unbeatable! Haha.
Monggo Chocolate is a premium Indonesian chocolate that's much cheaper if you buy it at the supermarket.
At around ~$4, its beautiful packaging makes it a fantastic Bali souvenir gift!
Krakakoa Bark series isn't your typical chocolate bar;
it's about ~$5. True to its name, 'Bark,' it comes in thin, broken pieces and even includes bits of sourdough, baguette, and focaccia bread.
Made with high-quality Indonesian cacao, its delightful crunch makes it perfect with coffee.
Grab a bag or two as a special souvenir!
This 'Slimming Tea' is famous as a diet tea, and at ~$2 per box, the price is excellent too.
It's said to suppress body fat, thanks to its natural herbal ingredients, not chemical ones.
Honestly, rather than strictly believing in its efficacy, don't you think it's nice to drink it for a feel-good boost? Haha!
I gifted it to my friends who work out.
I even diligently drank it myself for a while after coming home! Haha.
yava is a local Balinese snack brand,
famous for its cashews, granola, and popcorn.
They minimize preservatives and artificial flavors,
using natural ingredients, so you'll see them everywhere in supermarkets.
I especially recommend their popcorn and cereals!
The Thins potato chips are super famous on Bali's shopping lists.
I tried various flavors of them at our accommodation.
They're great with beer, and I wanted to buy a lot,
but the nitrogen volume limited how many I could pack.
Definitely try the sour cream flavor, which isn't available back home!
Great Prices on Everything from Body Products to Souvenirs
I first used Ellips hair oil in Bali,
and since then, I've been consistently buying it online.
It's not sticky or heavy,
but my hair just feels so soft?
Bali definitely offers the lowest prices for Ellips,
so I highly recommend stocking up here, haha!
They even sell small ~$1 sizes, which are perfect for gifts,
and since they're capsules, I always take them when I travel.
Herborist body butter costs around ~$2,
and its banana olive scent is subtle and natural.
Its moisturizing power is quite good, making it perfect for autumn and winter,
and it's a great value for gifting to friends.
Southeast Asia is known for its developed oil products,
so I always buy a lot of moisturizing items.
Body salts, soaps, and oils are excellent quality
for their price, so be sure to pick some up.
Bintang Market actually has a lot of natural products.
I wanted to buy a lot of souvenirs when I went to Bali,
but the prices at curated shops were higher than I expected.
From teak wood bowls to small trinkets,
I was able to buy them at affordable prices.
There are also many beach clubs around Seminyak in Bali,
making Bintang Market a great place to drop by for shopping.
