Many visitors like to split their itineraries—spending a few nights exploring the vibrant downtown area, and the rest soaking up the sun at a luxurious beachfront resort near Cam Ranh Airport.

Personally, I usually book a budget-friendly city hotel for a quick "0.5-night" layover stay at the very beginning or end of my trip.

However, on a recent mother-daughter getaway, we wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the downtown shopping scene while still enjoying the relaxed coastal vibe.

So, we decided to spend about a week right in the heart of Nha Trang.

For our last three days—including that convenient final half-night before our late flight—we stayed at the Seaside Boutique Hotel Nha Trang Beach.

I've stayed at almost every popular budget hotel in downtown Nha Trang, but this 4-star gem caught my eye because it's a newly built property that just opened in 2025.

Curiosity won, and I'm so glad we booked it because everything was incredibly clean and comfortable!

It's about a 40-minute drive from Cam Ranh International Airport, and a taxi ride will cost you roughly ~$12.

2. Room Condition

When booking, I requested a high floor and we were assigned to the 16th.

The natural light was fantastic, and thanks to the heavy blackout curtains, we slept like logs.

Some reviews mentioned the rooms were a bit small.

While it's true they are slightly cozier than the 5-star hotels nearby (which charge more per night), at roughly 270 sq ft, we had plenty of space to open two large suitcases without tripping over each other.

Our room featured two comfortable single beds, a functional desk area, and a flat-screen TV.

There was also a dedicated luggage rack, which is always a thoughtful touch.

Standard amenities included instant coffee, tea, and an electric kettle.

You receive one complimentary bottle of water per person daily (left on the counter); anything inside the mini-fridge is chargeable.

A quick heads-up: like many city hotels in Nha Trang, the mini-fridge here wasn't ice cold, but rather just slightly cool.

The room layout was very practical, featuring an open closet, a mini-safe, and an external sink.

The provided hairdryer had great airflow, which was much appreciated!

The shower and toilet were in separate enclosed stalls, making it super easy to share the space with my mom.

We brought our own shower filter, and even after three nights, the color barely changed! The plumbing is clearly in top shape since it's a new build.

Toiletries included toothbrushes, razors, combs, cotton swabs, and soap.

The shower had large, shared pump bottles of shampoo and body wash.

While we booked the Senior Deluxe Sea View Twin Room, it wasn't exactly a sweeping panoramic ocean view.

You could catch a glimpse of the water in the distance.

That being said, the vibrant city view was fantastic, and we loved it.

If you're only booking this as a "0.5-night" layover hotel before a flight, don't stress too much about the view—just grab the cheapest room available!

From our window, we had a clear view of the Regalia Gold and Virgo Hotel—two very popular 5-star properties in Nha Trang.

This just goes to show how central the Seaside Boutique really is.

In fact, because it sits slightly further inland, it's actually closer to some of the top-rated local eateries and souvenir shops!

3. Breakfast & Amenities

I had read mixed reviews about the breakfast, so my expectations were low.

However, my mom was pleasantly surprised and thought it was quite good!

The breakfast restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Since we are both early birds, our routine was to grab a light bite—some pho, a salad, and an omelet—then take a morning stroll along the beach before heading out for a bigger brunch later in the day.

The made-to-order pho and omelets were fresh and tasty, and the beverages were decent.

Overall, the food quality was solid and satisfying for the price point.

The rooftop pool, bar, and spa are all situated on the 20th floor.

I knew beforehand that the pool was on the smaller side, but the elevated views give the whole area a fantastic, relaxing vibe.

We didn't actually swim during this stay since our main goal was city shopping, but just sitting up there soaking in the atmosphere felt like a true vacation.

The pool is open from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Because it's compact, not many people seem to use it, making it a surprisingly quiet and private spot to unwind.

For those who like to keep up with their fitness routine while traveling, there is a gym on the 20th floor as well.

4. Final Thoughts on Our Stay

When I travel to Nha Trang with my kids and want a full resort experience, I usually book the Alma Resort in Cam Ranh or the 5-star Regalia Gold downtown.

But for a shopping and foodie adventure with my mom, we wanted something fresh, clean, and budget-friendly.

The newly built Seaside Boutique Hotel was the perfect choice.
