During my recent trip to Thailand, I had the pleasure of staying here, and I'm excited to share my honest review, covering everything from ✅️**check-in to room condition and high-floor views**!

Hotel Exterior
The **Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel** is directly accessible via a skywalk connected to BTS Chit Lom Station.
✅️ You can even walk to major shopping malls like ***CentralWorld, Gaysorn, Central Embassy, Big C Supercenter, and Siam Paragon***.
Its prime location means you can reach these key shopping hubs on foot, making it an incredibly convenient stay if shopping is high on your agenda!
Even **Seven Eleven and Watsons are within walking distance**, adding to the convenience.
Upon arriving at the hotel, you'll pass through a charming driveway.
If you come by Grab or taxi, they can drop you off directly inside the hotel grounds.
If you prefer to walk, you'll appreciate the beautifully landscaped surroundings, and it's even possible to stroll under the covered roofs of nearby shops, providing shelter from the sun or rain.
✅️ Slightly set back from the busiest main street, it definitely offers a more tranquil atmosphere!
Hotel Lobby
You'll be greeted by friendly bellboys and a vibrant, expansive hotel lobby featuring stylish colors and a lively ambiance.
You'll find a *souvenir shop*, a *small cafe*, and even a *lobby bar* tucked away inside!
There's also plenty of comfortable seating if you need to relax or wait.

Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel
This is my second visit to the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong,
and once again, ✅️the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and responsive,
so even with a late-night check-in, everything went smoothly. (Deposit required per night, credit card or cash)
Even with a late-night check-in, they provided a ✅️refreshing welcome drink and chewy jelly,
which was a nice touch despite being tired haha.
They offered to help with my luggage, but I was so tired I just took it myself.
The upper one or two floors are used as a grand ballroom and breakfast restaurant,
and the open-plan floors make the hotel feel much more spacious.
There are a total of 4 elevators,
with separate ones for the Heak Bar and other guest rooms, ensuring more efficient operation.

Corridors with the subtle, signature Renaissance scent.
Security is also quite good, as you can only access your specific floor with a key card!
Guest Room, 1 King Bed (High Floor)
The room I stayed in was 2209,
and being on one of the highest floors, I was really looking forward to the view and everything else haha.

It's not a brand-new hotel, but it definitely feels like a place that is
really well-maintained, with no signs of age.
With Renaissance's unique colorful + wood interior,
bright colors and modern design harmoniously blend together.
A king-size bed with plush bedding – what a combination!
The bed size is almost too big for one person, not to mention,
the mattress quality is excellent.
Soundproofing is also quite good, making it perfect for a restful sleep even in the heart of the city.
You can also carefully adjust the lighting brightness,
and with power outlets and USB charging ports on both sides of the bed,
charging devices is super convenient!
A single armchair and a work table are positioned by the window.
It provides various ports, perfect for getting work done,
and room service operates 24 hours a day.
The room was so spacious that I ended up using the armchair to lay my bag on, haha!
A TV offering a wide array of channels from various countries.
In-room WiFi is free and the speed was quite decent.
There's also a full-length mirror next to the TV, which I found really useful when getting ready.
The room cleaning service was consistently excellent, too!
You can control the corridor lighting and air conditioning from the console near the entrance.
Even looking at it this way, isn't the room super spacious?
Just a heads-up, the air conditioning was incredibly powerful – so much so that I had to turn it off at night to sleep! So, if you're planning to stay at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong, be careful not to catch a cold! 😂
The luggage area and shoe rack were also really spacious, making things super convenient!
To the left, you'll find the minibar area.
Dilmah tea, Nescafe, Coffeemate, and sugar are all provided as standard!
Befitting a 5-star hotel in downtown Bangkok, a variety of glasses and a wine opener are neatly prepared.
The water comes in elegant glass bottles, encased in luxurious leather covers, and they refill two bottles daily!
A kettle and ice bucket are also standard amenities.
The refrigerator kept things quite cool, which was great for storing fruits and drinks.
However, the inside is a paid zone~
In the closet, you'll find robes and room slippers.
The robes are thin, perfectly suited for Thailand's weather, making them ideal for relaxing comfortably in the room.
There's also a safe, an iron set, shoe polish, and a scale.
The laundry fees weren't too burdensome either!
Bathroom
A spacious bathroom layout featuring a large bathtub, a shower, and a toilet!
The sink comes with a magnifying mirror, making morning preparations a breeze.
With its glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom,
opening the blinds creates the effect of a much more expansive space.
The spacious and immaculate bathtub was perfect for unwinding and soothing weary limbs
after a day of shopping!
The amenities package includes shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner,
along with soap, body lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton swabs, and shower caps provided as standard.
And get this: bath salts, razors, and other items are available upon request at the front desk, so don't forget to ask!
I asked for bath salts and they were delivered within 5 minutes!
The hairdryer is a Panasonic model.
(They usually provide plenty of towels, including hand towels, but it seems they might have forgotten on the first day... From the next day, they were well-stocked!)
Even though the bathroom and bedroom are wonderfully open-plan,
you can adjust the curtains from the sink area, making it entirely possible to enjoy complete privacy.
Behind the bathroom door, you'll find the toilet, and the water pressure is quite decent.
The shower room next to it is wonderfully spacious,
and it was super convenient with its sitting area, space for personal items, and grab bars.
There are both standard and rainfall showerheads,
and both offer seriously powerful water pressure, making for an incredibly comfortable shower experience!

High-Floor Room Views
Here's the stunning Bangkok city view from the top floor, the 22nd floor!
Through the large, floor-to-ceiling windows, you can spot the BTS Skytrain and enjoy a truly expansive city view.
By day, bask in the glorious natural light from your cool, comfortable room,
and by night, marvel at the dazzling city lights.
The noise is definitely minimized,
and it truly feels like enjoying a perfect retreat right in the heart of the bustling city,
so if you're deliberating a high-floor option for your guest room, I highly, highly recommend it!
Final Thoughts
Thanks to an even more enjoyable second visit than the first,
the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel is definitely worth considering for your next Bangkok trip!
It's no exaggeration to say its location is top-tier in downtown Bangkok,
and I highly recommend it for travelers who want to enjoy shopping, relaxation, and sightseeing all at once.
Especially if you're planning a multi-night stay or traveling before peak season, be sure to check Agoda in advance~

The Guest Room (1 King Bed, High Floor) is conveniently equipped with both power outlets and USB charging ports on both sides of the bed. Various ports are also provided on the work desk.
The bathroom does not include bath salts or razors in addition to the basic amenities. These items can be provided upon request at the counter; in the case of bath salts, they were received within 5 minutes.
From a high-floor room on the 22nd floor, you can enjoy an expansive view of Bangkok city through large, floor-to-ceiling windows. The BTS is also visible from outside the window, and despite being in the heart of the city, the noise is noticeably reduced.
