One of the first things I grappled with when planning my Tokyo trip was deciding on the perfect accommodation.

The city is so vast, and there are countless amazing areas to stay, like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, and Asakusa, right?

I spent a lot of time wondering where to base myself, but I really wanted to see Tokyo Tower and explore the nearby attractions easily, so I started looking into Roppongi.

1. Roppongi Accommodation Location

As I pondered where to stay in Tokyo, the most crucial factor for me was definitely finding a place with convenient transportation.

While there are many famous areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza, I really wanted to see Tokyo Tower, Japan's iconic landmark, up close, so I searched for accommodations nearby.

However, when I actually started looking for hotels with a tower view, the prices were higher than I expected.

Many places with great views were more than ~$219, which felt a bit steep. But after some diligent searching, I stumbled upon a fantastic spot where you can stay from the ~$70s to the early ~$140s!

It's right in front of Roppongi Station, making it super easy to get around, and I could even walk to a Tokyo Tower photo spot! (Hint: it's in front of the Seven-Eleven!)

2. Tokyo Accommodation Recommendation: Great Value for Money

Honestly, when searching for Tokyo Tower hotels, rooms with a tower view naturally tend to be more expensive than standard rooms.

That's when I discovered this Tokyo hotel that offers incredible value for money! It's the Remm Roppongi, a superb Tokyo Tower accommodation.

Prices vary depending on the booking time and dates, but when I booked, it was around ~$124.

I checked other dates, and I saw prices starting from the late ~$130s. So, if getting great value for your Tokyo accommodation is a priority, I highly recommend comparing prices for different dates!

Popular Tokyo hotels, especially recommended ones, tend to fill up quickly, so if your travel dates are set, it's a good idea to check availability in advance.

If you're dreaming of a tower view room, those can go even faster than standard rooms, so it's best to book as early as possible!!

3. Remm Roppongi Review

Check-in was at 2 PM, and check-out was at 12 PM!

They even offered luggage storage before check-in, so I dropped my bags off early in the morning and went to enjoy Disneyland.

And after check-out, I could still leave my luggage at the hotel, which meant I didn't have to lug heavy bags around on my last day!

Checking in was possible autonomously using a machine,

but the staff were right there to help out!

After checking in, I grabbed my amenities from the lobby and headed up to my room.

The room I stayed in was number 1413.

With 20 floors in total, it felt pretty high up!

Overall, the room had a very clean feel,

and it was set up with a comfortable double bed.

When I booked, rooms with a Tokyo Tower view were already

sold out, so I went with a semi-double room.

But honestly, once I got there, the city view turned out to be much better than I expected!

What I loved most was the huge window, offering a wonderful sense of spaciousness.

Even though it wasn't a tower view room, the Tokyo cityscape during the day

and the twinkling building lights at night created such a surprisingly lovely ambiance.

So, if you're looking for a great balance of location and price,

even if it's not a hotel with a Tokyo Tower view, I truly believe this is an excellent choice.

I'm already thinking of staying here again on my next trip!

And something I absolutely didn't expect was a massage chair!

With so much walking around all day,

my legs usually get quite tired by evening.

So, coming back to the hotel and sinking into that massage chair

was incredibly useful, much more than I thought it would be! Haha.

The room came with two complimentary bottles of water,

and all the essential amenities like a coffee pot, cups, and slippers

were thoughtfully provided.

The bathroom also featured a separate shower booth,

and the space around the sink and toilet never felt cramped.

The cleanliness was absolutely spotless – I was thoroughly impressed!

4. Overall Impressions

While there were vending machines inside the hotel,

having convenience stores so close by made it super easy

to pop out for snacks or anything I needed, even late at night!

When considering its fantastic location, the comfort of the rooms, and even the appealing price point,

I actually found it much more captivating than any of the accommodations

I've experienced in Ginza or Asakusa.

So, if you're a savvy traveler hunting for top-notch value in Roppongi,

or if Tokyo Tower is on your must-see list,
