Today, I'm sharing my review of a fantastic hotel in downtown Nha Trang.
With its amazing location and incredible value for money, it's perfect for a full-night stay or even a quick 0.5-night stay. Let's kick off this review of the Regalia Gold! (And yes, they do offer luggage storage while you're out exploring the town~)

Nha Trang Downtown Hotel
I recently took a trip to Nha Trang during the Lunar New Year holiday!
We decided to spend our first night at a hotel in downtown Nha Trang, and then move to The Anam Resort starting from the second day.
Since our flight landed past midnight on the first night, we just needed a comfortable place to crash. So, we chose Regalia Gold Hotel because it ticked all the right boxes: ① great value, ② excellent location, and ③ convenient luggage storage.

When I visited Nha Trang three years ago, I stayed at the Virgo Hotel and then The Anam Resort, but this time, I decided on the Regalia Gold Hotel! 👍🏻
Virgo Hotel was great, but since Regalia Gold is slightly higher in price, it looked a bit nicer—so I had promised myself to try Regalia Gold next time. I finally booked it for my second trip to Nha Trang, and it was definitely the right choice! (Though Virgo Hotel is indeed a bit cheaper!)

Even when booking this time, I compared several websites, and Agoda offered the best rates, so I booked through them. Looking it up again while writing this post, Agoda still has the cheapest rates!~
Just as a heads-up, prices vary depending on your dates, but you can generally expect Regalia Gold to be around ~$32 per night and Virgo Hotel around ~$19 per night. Since we visited during the peak holiday season, we paid around ~$45 per night.
Since it was the Lunar New Year holiday, Vietnam was celebrating Tet, so the lobby was beautifully decorated like this!
We were originally supposed to arrive at the hotel around midnight,
but due to an Eastar Jet delay, we didn't check in until after 1:00 AM... T_T

Since so many flights to Nha Trang arrive late at night or in the early morning, the staff were fully available despite the late hour, and checking in was a breeze!
Since we were traveling as a big family—my parents, my sister's family (sister, brother-in-law, and nephew), and my husband and me—we booked three rooms! Even though we arrived so late, they kindly arranged our rooms right next to each other.
The hotel staff even delivered all of our heavy luggage right to our doors!
Superior With Window
We booked a Superior With Window room, which included breakfast!
The room size was just perfect!
The bed was incredibly spacious, and though you can only see a partial angle in the photos, there is a wardrobe, mini-fridge, and other amenities on the other side.
There's a TV, a vanity that doubles as a desk, and a small table with a cozy sofa chair right next to the bed.
Overall, downtown Nha Trang hotels are exceptionally clean, which made me love the experience even more!

There are two bottles of water provided on the counter, and you'll find more inside the fridge!
The water on the counter is free, but the bottles inside the fridge come with a charge. We ended up drinking all of them, so we just settled the bill at check-out.
Nha Trang downtown hotel bathroom 🛁
It comes with a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet.
Basic amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, and hand wash are provided, but there’s no facial cleanser or hair conditioner.

It was almost 2 AM at this point, but it felt like a waste to just go straight to sleep, so we headed out!
Conveniently, a fruit stall right across from our Nha Trang hotel was still open! They offer pre-packaged fresh fruit and fresh juice to go. Since we hadn't exchanged our money into Vietnamese Dong (VND) yet, we paid in Korean Won. Maybe because of that, it felt a little overpriced... but hey, mangoes! 🥭
Since we're in Vietnam, we had to kick off our trip with a bowl of pho!
Another great thing about Regalia Gold is that a famous local street food spot for Nha Trang pho, Quan Pho Bac - Nam, is located right nearby.
We actually paid in US dollars here, haha! So we probably paid a bit of a premium again, but still...

Now, let's head down to check out the hotel breakfast!
There were many Korean tourists, but we also saw tons of Western travelers there!
Aside from what you see in the pictures—like salads, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, and pastries—there was a decent selection of hot, satisfying dishes too!
Just so you know, they also have a freshly made noodle and egg station!
After breakfast, we checked out, left our luggage at the front desk, and headed back out to explore the city!
What makes the Regalia Gold Hotel so amazing is that you can literally walk to anywhere in downtown Nha Trang from here 👍 If you're looking for a hotel in Nha Trang city center with a prime location, great value, and super clean rooms, I highly recommend Regalia Gold.
Since they offer a luggage storage service, we could leave our bags behind...
...and easily go grab a massage, do some shopping, hit up the top restaurants, and chill at local cafes. The location flow is absolutely perfect!!! It is truly the ultimate value hotel—Regalia Gold 👏
