For those planning a trip to Disney World,

make sure to choose an official resort.

Everyone thinks it's expensive, but there are also affordable

options, and guests staying at official resorts

receive more benefits than you might expect.

You can even find rooms starting around ~$75 per night..!

No matter the price, I highly recommend choosing an official

resort for your accommodation.

Initially, since I was traveling alone, I even looked into Korean guesthouses,

but thinking back now,

I realize it was a great decision to stay at an official resort.

The benefits were so numerous!

Why Stay at an Official Hotel?

Disney World is about

1/6 the size of Seoul, so it's massive.

On top of that, there are four parks,

and Magic Kingdom alone is so big that it's hard to see one park

in a single day, meaning your Uber fares could

end up costing more than your accommodation.

One of the benefits of staying at an official hotel is

the ability to use transportation for free!!!

Key Benefits

1. 30-minute early entry

2. Disney shuttles, select resort gondolas, etc. Free transportation to the parks

3. Purchase and reserve paid fast pass, Lightning Lane, starting 1 week before your stay.

4. Make restaurant reservations starting 60 days before check-in for up to a 10-night itinerary

5. For Deluxe accommodations, extended evening hours at select parks on designated nights

Official resorts offer so many benefits beyond just a place to sleep,

from 30-minute early entry

to advance reservations for Lightning Lane, and much more!!

In particular, I think the free shuttles are a huge

benefit.

The city is vast, so Uber fares... are expensive.

Also, 'Space 220 Restaurant', one of Epcot's popular restaurants,

is so in-demand that dining without a reservation is impossible. But if you stay at a resort,

you can reserve a table in advance.

So many benefits, staying there is truly a win-win!

Are Official Resorts Only Expensive?

Official resorts are categorized into Value, Moderate

and Deluxe tiers.

Value < Moderate < Deluxe

in increasing order of price!

Deluxe (Villa) accommodations offer extended evening hours,

but honestly, they are very expensive.

(It's over ~$1130 per night...)

However, since I was traveling alone,

and I planned to have a blast at Disney,

the accommodation wasn't my top priority.

I chose All-Star Sports,

which is in the Disney Value category.

(It offers incredible value for money!)

Even within the All-Star resorts,

'Sports' is the most affordable.

After actually staying at Sports,

I realized you can't beat its value for money.

All-Star Sports Booking Tips

Initially, when I tried to book on the official website,

I saw that **3 nights** would cost

**over ~$602**.

So I asked a friend who had already been there,

and they told me it was cheaper to use **Agoda**.

When I checked, it was indeed much cheaper.

Even compared to other sites,

**Agoda was significantly cheaper**.

(Seriously, the difference was massive...)

I also **booked through Agoda**, and

while I was initially worried about the booking, I asked a

**Disney resort staff member** who confirmed

**the booking was successful** and even helped me register the hotel on the app myself!

When booking through Agoda, make sure to go into the 'Disney App'

and check with **'Chat with Us'** to

confirm if your Agoda booking has been finalized!!

Also, if you ask them to **register your accommodation on the app**,

you can **book Lightning Lane a week**

**in advance**!!!!

This process might seem a bit cumbersome,

but it **saves you almost ~$226-~$301**, and

book early. Resorts tend to sell out quickly and prices skyrocket closer to the date!

Accommodation Review

Initially, I wondered if it would be subpar because it was cheaper,

but **the conclusion is, I was satisfied!**

I started with check-in,

and make sure to get your **first-visit badge** then!

After check-in, they give you a **card key**,

which doubles as **both your theme park entry ticket**

**and your room key**.

While it's a resort that doesn't include breakfast,

there's a **restaurant within the resort** where you can grab a simple meal!

The **room interior is really spacious**,

with a table for easy dining, and the bed can also be pulled out!!

The bathroom was clean, and they provided plenty of towels,

so I was satisfied throughout my stay!

If you have a **swimsuit**, it's a good idea to bring it,

because it's a resort, so you can swim!!!

And when you head to the parks, you'll step outside

and find the bus stop right there!

Magic Kingdom / Animal Kingdom / Epcot

/ Hollywood Studios, each with

its own dedicated boarding area.

You can even check the schedule on the app!

(By the way, it's all free!)

And on your last day, when you check out,

you can step outside and store your luggage.

(I think you don't even need to tip!)

It's affordable, and the room condition

and park benefits were all excellent!

I would definitely use it again!

Seriously, everyone, haha, Agoda really is...

the cheapest. I even compared it with other accommodations

(I checked them all out!!)

Summary

I'm thinking about visiting again next year,

and even if I go back to Orlando, this is where

I'd stay again because it's such great value for money.

If you're heading to Disney World and are wondering

where to stay, I highly recommend 'All-Star Sports'!

Definitely give it a try!!

To be frank, external accommodations

might actually cost you more in transportation.
