Looking for an affordable Tokyo stay with a view? Nine Hours Hamamatsucho offers stunning Tokyo Tower vistas from its lounge, perfect for a unique short trip.

I recently spent a night at Nine Hours Hamamatsucho, and while it's definitely a **budget-friendly Tokyo Tower view hotel**, there were a few minor inconveniences that made a single night feel just right. If you're looking to save some cash without sacrificing a great view, this Nine Hours capsule hotel in Tokyo could be your perfect short-stay solution!

1. Nine Hours Hamamatsucho Overview

📍 Nine Hours Hamamatsucho
1 Chome-25-10 Hamamatsucho, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0013 Japan
Detailed Location: 1 Chome-25-10 Hamamatsucho, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0013 Japan
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
* For consecutive nights, guests must check out and check back in daily.
Nine Hours is a popular chain of capsule hotels, with four locations scattered across Tokyo. The Hamamatsucho branch, however, holds a special appeal: its common lounge offers an incredible view of the Tokyo Tower!
It's only about a **15-minute walk from Tokyo Tower**, and you can even catch glimpses of the tower through the alleyways just 2-3 minutes from the hotel. If you're hunting for a Tokyo Tower view hotel, I definitely recommend Nine Hours Hamamatsucho for a one-night stay.

You can store your luggage before or after check-in/out. No need to bother the staff – just use the storage area on the first floor or leave your bags neatly against the nearby wall.

📌 Tokyo Tower View Hotel Floor Guide
1st Floor: Reception, Women's Shower Room
2nd Floor: Men's Shower Room, Men's Locker Room
3rd Floor: Women-Only Rooms, Women's Locker Room
6th Floor, 9th Floor: Women-Only Rooms
4th Floor, 5th Floor, 7th Floor, 8th Floor: Men-Only Rooms
10th Floor: Common Lounge
They have separate elevators for women and men, which is a huge plus! It means you won't bump into anyone from the opposite gender when moving between the shower rooms or locker rooms, which I really appreciated.
2. My Tokyo Capsule Hotel Experience

I was assigned a capsule on the 6th floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Since the women's locker room is on the 3rd floor, I had to trek between floors every time I needed toiletries or to organize my luggage.
If you're assigned the 3rd floor, you'll have your locker room on the same level, making things much easier. So, when you're **booking your stay**, consider adding a request for the 3rd floor!

Considering this is a Tokyo Tower view hotel, the average price of ~$19 to ~$32 makes those minor inconveniences pretty easy to overlook! 😂
Since the prices are so affordable, rooms tend to fill up fast. If only 1-2 rooms are left, the price can jump to ~$45 to ~$58, so if you're planning a stay, I highly recommend booking as early as possible!

Inside the locker, you'll find basic amenities, a hanger, and a shoe stand for your outdoor footwear.
The amenities include a towel, pajamas, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the shower rooms, so you can literally just show up at this budget-friendly Tokyo capsule hotel!

The women's locker room at Nine Hours, a Tokyo Tower view hotel, isn't very large. If someone unfolds a suitcase, you might have to wait a moment. Also, if your luggage doesn't fit inside the locker and you leave it by the wall, staff will move it to the 1st-floor storage, which can be quite a hassle when you need to retrieve it.
* Women's locker: approximately 16x22x39 inches (40x56x100CM)
* Men's locker: approximately 12x20x52 inches (30x50x133CM)
Still, with a **one-night price ranging from ~$19 to ~$32**, it's a pretty reasonable place to stay for a Tokyo Tower view hotel. 😑

Each floor has about 22-30 capsules. The corridor felt wider than the locker room, making me wonder if it would be okay to leave luggage there.

The capsule interiors are quite spacious, so I didn't feel cramped at all. Each capsule comes with one USB port and one 110V outlet.
There's also a button in the center to adjust the lighting.

The 3rd floor of the Nine Hours Tokyo capsule hotel features a desk and a terrace area, so you don't even need to go all the way to the 10th-floor lounge to enjoy a simple meal or a beer.
3. Tokyo Tower View Lounge

The main reason I chose Nine Hours Hamamatsucho wasn't just its affordable price, but also the fantastic Tokyo Tower view available from the lounge!
The panoramic windows offer an unobstructed view, perfect for late-night snacks or conversations with fellow travelers. Plus, with power outlets scattered around, it's a great spot to catch up on work on your laptop.
The common lounge is always open, so you can stay as late as you like. Around **midnight**, the Tokyo Tower lights switch off, offering a unique and different view of the darkened tower. It was my first time seeing it without its evening glow! 😯

Stepping out from the Tokyo Tower view hotel lounge, you can head up to the outdoor rooftop area. There are platforms where you can relax and enjoy the tower view or even have a beer on a nice day.
4. Women's Shower Room

With about seven shower rooms, I never had to wait to get cleaned up. There were also several sinks and hairdryers available, which made getting ready very convenient.

While the luggage situation was a bit cumbersome, when you consider that this Tokyo Tower view hotel costs a mere ~$19 to ~$32, it's definitely a worthwhile trade-off.
However, keep in mind the daily check-out and re-check-in requirement for consecutive stays. Because of this, Nine Hours Tokyo capsule hotel is best suited for a single night at the start or end of your trip. Hope this review helps you plan your Tokyo adventure!

Even if you are staying for consecutive nights, you must check out at 11:00 AM every day and check back in at 3:00 PM. Due to this inconvenience, we recommend staying for just one night on the first or last day of your trip.
The women's locker size is 40*56*100 cm. If your suitcase doesn't fit in the locker and you leave it by the locker room wall, the staff will move it to the luggage storage on the 1st floor, which can be a hassle when you need to retrieve your belongings.
You can enjoy a view of Tokyo Tower through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the shared lounge on the 10th floor. You can also see the tower from the outdoor rooftop deck. Since the lounge is always open, you can even watch the tower's lights turn off at midnight.
We recommend requesting a room on the 3rd floor in the special requests section when booking. Because the 3rd floor has both women-only sleeping pods and the locker room, it saves you the hassle of moving between floors to organize your luggage, unlike being assigned to the 6th or 9th floors.
