When planning our family trip to Nha Trang,

we booked our flight tickets with Jin Air.

Traveling with our 23-month-old and 7-month-old little ones,

I'm excited to share our Jin Air flight review to Nha Trang

2. Trip.com Flight Booking Tips

With a 3% discount, up to ~$9,

this means the maximum discount applies to a flight ticket of ~$296.

Since the discount code can only be used once per booking,

the discount amount is quite small when booking tickets for multiple people.

Here's a Pro Tip!

The code can be used up to 10 times per account,

so if you're booking family travel tickets,

split your group into separate bookings to apply the

discount code to each one!

For example,

if you have 2 adults and 2 infants,

you can make two separate bookings: one for 1 adult + 1 infant, and another for 1 adult + 1 infant.

Since a round-trip flight to Southeast Asia averages around ~$296,

3. Jin Air Flight Review to Nha Trang with Kids

For our round trip between Incheon and Nha Trang,

we flew with Jin Air flights LJ087 and LJ088.

Both our departure flight in the evening

and our return flight at midnight meant that

tiring out the kids before the flight was absolutely crucial!

We arrived early at the airport and

let them roam around and explore as much as possible.

The Pororo Zone at Incheon Airport was

smaller and more media-focused than we expected,

so I don't recommend it for infants and toddlers.

It's much better to just walk around with them.

Since our departure time was during their night sleep,

we tried our best to keep them from napping during the day, and as a result,

both kids slept soundly on the plane.

Since Jin Air's Nha Trang route

doesn't offer in-flight meals, we ate at the airport beforehand

and packed separate snacks and formula for the kids.

If you request hot water, they provide it right away.

Due to the pressure difference during takeoff,

it's a good idea to give them water or formula,

And when your child starts to get a bit fussy,

it's best to have snacks or toys ready

in a hand bag that you can pull out immediately.

And for both children's formula water and drinking water,

we relied entirely on baby water.

We carried both children onboard,

but as they approach their second birthday, they get quite big,

making it uncomfortable to sit together.

If your child sits well, buying them a separate seat would likely

save the parents' and child's energy.

When we traveled to Jeju, we bought a seat for the child,

and they were much more comfortable

and loved watching the sky.

And on the return journey,

even though it was only an hour, they slept soundly the whole way!

4. Baggage

Baggage regulations vary depending on the fare option,

but since we had a lot of luggage for the kids,

we opted for the checked baggage option that included 15kg.

For baby formula water, liquids exceeding 100ml are

allowed in the cabin, so we brought several baby water bottles

onboard.

Additionally, one portable stroller or car seat can be checked in

per infant.

The size of a stroller allowed in the cabin must be

within 20 * 20 * 100cm.

We found it too cumbersome to load and unload our portable stroller in the cabin,

so we checked it in.

5. Wrapping Up

This was our first international trip with a 23-month-old and a 7-month-old,

and it was much tougher than we anticipated.

With the change in environment,

the younger child cried a lot more than usual,

so I kept walking up and down the aisle with them in the baby carrier.

Still, it was a multi-generational family trip with grandparents,

so it was a huge relief to have so many helping hands!

A few months have passed, and my memories have been romanticized,

so here I am, already looking for flights again.
