Nha Trang hotels with floor-to-ceiling ocean views often cost ~$151-~$227 per night, making you hesitate, right?

I wanted a room where I could see the sea from the bed, and Komodo Hotel was the place where a floor-to-ceiling window suite was available for around ~$76.

Having stayed there myself, I'll honestly share everything from the room's ocean view to the overall atmosphere.

1. Why I Chose Komodo Hotel​

When choosing accommodation, the three things I didn't want to miss were the view, location, and price.

⭐ Let's start with the ocean view

I wanted a room where I could see the sea stretching to the horizon, with Vinpearl Island, home to VinWonders, clearly visible.

A room with this exact view through its floor-to-ceiling windows was Komodo Hotel's suite.

⭐ And we can't forget about the location.

Louisiane Brewhouse is just 2 minutes away, and Sailing Club is 5 minutes, so you can easily walk to and from the beach clubs.

I walked around the night market in the evening, explored the city, got a local foot massage, and then walked back to the hotel.

While other floor-to-ceiling ocean view hotels cost ~$151-~$227 per night, here, around ~$76 was enough.

However, even for the same ocean view room, comparing across different booking platforms revealed a price difference of up to ~$15.

2. Ocean View Suite Review + Breakfast & Pool

The moment I tapped the key card and opened the door, the ocean immediately came into view through the floor-to-ceiling window straight ahead.

The suite room size is 40-45㎡, which is about 12-13 'pyeong'.

This is roughly double the size of a typical hotel room.

The mattress was on the softer side, so I woke up without any back pain.

Overall, the room felt cleanly organized rather than overly extravagant.

The VinWonders Ferris Wheel was directly in front, so I didn't need to adjust my camera angle for photos.

There were bedside tables on both sides of the bed, making it convenient for charging my phone or placing my glasses.

Even when a hotel is advertised as having an ocean view, you often find that it's just visible through a single window, right?

Komodo boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows,

offering expansive, unobstructed views that feel incredibly open.

By the window, there's a cozy table and chairs.

It was the perfect size for two people to sit facing each other,

gazing at the ocean and enjoying a refreshing beer.

A large full-length mirror by the door

made it super convenient to check my outfit before stepping out.

The closet was well-equipped with two bathrobes

and even flip-flops.

There were also plenty of hangers,

making it easy to unpack and hang up clothes.

Beyond the personal safe and hairdryer,

laundry service is also available for your convenience.

Two complimentary bottles of water are provided,

and there's a kettle, perfect for making cup noodles!

Do note that the mini-bar in the fridge is chargeable,

so be sure to check the price list before indulging.

As it's a suite, the bedroom and bathroom spaces are thoughtfully separated,

creating a comfortable and convenient flow.

What's really cool is the rotatable smart TV,

allowing you to even watch YouTube from the bathtub!

Even while soaking in the tub, you're treated to a panoramic ocean view.

Seeing VinWonders right from the bathroom felt truly unique and special.

With the toilet and shower areas separated,

it was convenient for two people to use without any waiting.

The showerhead is detachable,

so you can even attach a filter if you wish.

The water pressure was decent, which was a pleasant surprise.

Two large and two small towels

were readily available.

All the shampoo and body wash amenities were provided,

and the overall maintenance was excellent.

I think that covers everything about the room!

Now that we've explored the room, it's time to dive into

breakfast and the swimming pool!

⭐ Breakfast (3rd Floor, 6 AM - 10 AM)

Breakfast is served at the 3rd-floor buffet

from 6 AM to 10 AM.

The breakfast restaurant was neatly maintained,

and the tables were generously spaced, so it didn't feel crowded at all.

Komodo's breakfast pho features thicker noodles.

They were deliciously chewy, much like udon, which made for a unique twist.

With a mix of Vietnamese and Western styles,

You could pick and choose whatever you fancied.

While it wasn't a lavish buffet like you'd find at a 5-star hotel,

it was perfectly sufficient for a good breakfast.

⭐ Swimming Pool (27th Floor, 6 AM - 10 PM)

The pool is located on the very top floor, the 27th, and

it's open from 6 AM all the way until 10 PM.

They provide one towel per person at the pool, which is handy.

While it's not an infinity pool, you can still enjoy fantastic views even from inside the water,

with a clear sightline to the horizon and Vinpearl Island.

Though not enormous, it's perfectly adequate for a refreshing dip.

With sunbeds, tables, and chairs available,

it's an ideal spot to swim and unwind in the afternoon or evening.

The standout feature of this hotel is that every single room guarantees a stunning sea view.

Up on the rooftop, there's a sky bar offering breathtaking 360-degree sea views,

making it a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail at night

and gaze down at the sparkling Nha Trang sea.

From the stunning ocean view visible right from the bed,

to the dazzling lights of VinWonders twinkling outside the window,

in that moment, it felt like every reason we picked this accommodation

had perfectly come together.

Even if it's not a lavish 5-star resort,

if you can end your day relaxing with a beautiful sea view,

then that's truly all you need in a stay.
