This was actually my third trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Having experienced Nha Trang's top three tours multiple times before, I can offer some honest insights.

✔️ Desert Tour: The long travel time to Phan Rang seemed too strenuous for my parents.

✔️ Island Hopping Tour: We were already enjoying plenty of water activities at our resort, so dedicating half a day felt a bit redundant.

✔️ VinWonders: Easy to get to, and offers something for everyone, regardless of age.

While my previous trips were with friends or just my husband, this time it was a multi-generational family vacation with my parents and nieces/nephews. So, for our 3-night, 5-day itinerary, we prioritized a relaxing resort stay.

To ensure my parents wouldn't get bored staying only at the hotel, we decided to spend just one day in the city to visit VinWonders.

The kids enjoyed the zoo and rides, while my parents loved the colorful, beautiful buildings and the cable car views!

Initially, I wondered if ~$38 per person was a bit pricey, but considering everything included, it felt like a reasonable deal.

Buying your tickets beforehand also means you can skip the ticket counter lines and enter directly with a QR code, saving you valuable time.

Looking at it now, Trip.com offered the best deal.

It's significantly cheaper than on-site prices, so I highly recommend booking in advance.

3. My Experience at the VinWonders Zoo

The zoo and water park are included in your admission ticket, so if you're traveling with kids, these are absolute must-visits!

1) The water park typically closes around 5-6 PM, so plan your water fun for earlier in the day!

2) Re-entry is not permitted, so I recommend either utilizing a full-day ticket or opting for an afternoon pass if you plan a shorter visit!

3) Nha Trang's weather means intense UV exposure, so a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are absolute essentials.

4) Animal feeding experiences might only accept cash, so be sure to bring some USD!
