Nha Trang can feel a little quiet, especially after sunset. That's why I'm excited to share a fantastic spot for an unforgettable night out! Get ready to be wowed by the Sheraton Nha Trang's rooftop bar, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the ocean.
I'd heard about two great spots for night views, but since Skylight was closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, this was my first stop.

You'll find this gem on the 28th floor of the Sheraton.
I confess, I didn't do much research beforehand and just walked into the hotel, asking a friendly staff member where the rooftop bar was.
They kindly escorted me to an elevator and even pressed the button for me.
But then... I noticed it only went up to the 7th floor!
(At the time, I didn't realize it was on the 28th, but seven floors definitely didn't feel right for a rooftop bar.)
I stepped out and quickly realized my mistake.
The elevator on the right only serves the lower floors.
You need to take the one on the left for the higher levels.
The staff member was incredibly apologetic, but honestly,
it was no big deal – a funny little travel anecdote!
I didn't even go up and come back down;
I just got off right after getting in.
Once you're in the correct elevator on the left, you'll see "Sheraton Rooftop Bar" clearly marked at the top, leading you to one of Nha Trang's must-visit spots.
Its official name is Altitude.
The interior has a chic, modern vibe.
Naturally, everyone gravitates towards the outdoor seating, but if you arrive late and the outdoor spots are taken, the inside is still a great option.
I went early to avoid the crowds, as I wanted to take photos and soak it all in comfortably.
The outdoor area offers a fantastic atmosphere, with both city and ocean views!
If you snag a corner seat (like I did – you can spot my cocktail in one of the photos!), you can enjoy both perspectives.
I arrived a little after 8 PM, and there were only one or two other groups.
I stayed until around 9 PM, which is when more people started to arrive, so if you have a specific spot in mind, an earlier arrival is key.
I believe happy hour runs until 7 PM, so you could plan a perfect evening: head up a bit earlier, enjoy the breathtaking sunset and happy hour deals, then stay for the spectacular night views once the sun dips below the horizon.
Of course, this itinerary is ideal if you're with company.
Doing it solo might get a bit dull, unless you're like me and enjoy documenting your travels – though it's not exactly the atmosphere for intense work!

The lighting wasn't ideal for food photography, but the drinks looked fantastic!
Usually, I'd go for a signature cocktail or the top item on the list if I'm unsure, but a friendly staff member came over and recommended a few options.
I chose "Dreamy Musical" – the name just sounded so appealing!
For anyone wondering about prices at a Sheraton rooftop (I was a little concerned myself, to be honest!), I've included photos of the menu so you can get an idea.
True to its reputation as a must-visit spot in Nha Trang, the view from Altitude Bar is absolutely stunning.
The city buildings are adorned with countless lights, creating a dazzling, sparkling panorama.
This particular angle, overlooking the illuminated cityscape, seemed to be the most beautiful!
You also get fantastic views of the ocean on the opposite side, as well as the bustling city directly in front.
I had originally planned to visit Skylight, but I hadn't done my research (I've been a bit too spontaneous with my travel plans lately!) and found it was closed.
So, I made a last-minute change of plans and headed here instead.
It wasn't right next door, but certainly close enough.
And honestly, it turned out to be a fantastic decision!
We've just explored one of Nha Trang's top spots for truly incredible night views.
The Sheraton Nha Trang Rooftop Bar is located on the 28th floor of the hotel. To reach the 28th floor, you should use the left elevator in the hotel lobby, as the right elevator only operates for lower floors.
To secure a good spot, it's best to visit a little after 8 PM. Since happy hour ends at 7 PM, it's recommended to visit earlier if you want to enjoy both the sunset and happy hour.
At Sheraton Rooftop Bar, you can enjoy both city views and ocean views simultaneously. Sitting in a corner seat allows you to enjoy both views and see the sparkling nightscape with illuminated buildings.
