I recently visited the Southeast Asian resort city of Nha Trang with my mom.
After dinner, as we strolled along Nha Trang Beach,
enjoying the cool sea breeze, our steps naturally led us
to the Nha Trang Night Market, located right in the heart of the city.
While it's not huge, the vibrant lights and lively atmosphere,
even late into the night, made for a delightful evening stroll with my mom,
all the way from the beach to the market.
I'll share all the details about this fantastic Nha Trang attraction in Vietnam,
where my mom and I had so much fun sightseeing and making memories,
including the Nha Trang Night Market hours and what souvenirs you can find!
02. Downtown Stroll & Tour: Night Market Location
Nha Trang Night Market is situated on Tran Phu Street in the city center,
making it easily accessible on foot from most of the well-known downtown hotels.
What's even better is that just across the street from the market entrance,
you'll find the refreshing Nha Trang Beach, connecting you directly to the ocean
and offering that perfect resort vibe.

Right in front of the market entrance, you'll find 2/4 Square and Tram Huong Tower,
iconic symbols and landmarks of Nha Trang Beach. It's a fantastic spot
for a leisurely stroll and taking beautiful photos, and often hosts various festivals and events that you can enjoy.
This area also boasts pubs and rooftop bars where you can soak in stunning ocean views.
It's the perfect downtown tour spot to complete your Vietnam Nha Trang shopping list at the market
and then unwind with a casual drink overlooking the night sea.
03. Vietnamese Souvenirs to Explore
The Nha Trang Night Market usually opens around 5 PM, which is when the sun begins to set,
painting the sky with beautiful colors. Sunset typically happens around 6:30 PM.
True to its reputation as a must-visit Nha Trang spot,
its excellent location means you can enjoy the sunset on the beach
before heading over to explore the market.
Personally, I recommend visiting after 6 PM, once the heat starts to subside.
It makes browsing for Nha Trang souvenirs and various food items
much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Popular items here include vibrant dresses that perfectly capture the resort vibe,
stylish rattan bags, comfortable sandals perfect for light wear,
and cost-effective luggage.
Overall, I did notice a price difference compared to Dam Market.
For a basic sleeveless dress, if Dam Market sells it for around ~$3,
the same dress at Nha Trang Market might be around ~$4 to ~$6.
You definitely feel the 'tourist premium' here.
However, since there aren't many high-priced items here,
if you find something you like,
it's not a bad idea to pick up one or two
to soak in that travel vibe.
Near the entrance and exit, you'll find ice cream and fruits,
various seafood, traditional Vietnamese snacks, and other delicious treats,
making it a perfect spot to cool down and grab a bite.
Souvenir shops were also dotted throughout the market.
Small statues, decorative items, and magnets were popular,
Around the middle, there's a stall where you can get custom keychains
and bracelets made with your own name.
These are not only affordably priced but also super cute,
making them incredibly popular with Korean women and kids.
The price for custom keychains varies depending on the number of letters and charms,
but typically, a basic strap is 30,000 VND (~$10), and each initial costs around ~$0.
So, making one usually comes out to ~$2 to ~$3.
It's super affordable!
Something that's recently topped the Nha Trang shopping list
is this 'Chou Chou Peanut' snack.
They even have a booth at the Nha Trang Night Market!

Also, keep an eye out for promotions like buy 5 get 1 free,

As a popular Vietnamese souvenir,
they come in various sizes and flavors.
Overall, they weren't too sweet, which I loved,
and personally, the coffee flavor was my favorite.
My mom and I even got two flower pins for ~$1
to get into the travel spirit!
04. Wrapping Up Our Nha Trang Evening Stroll
My mom and I truly enjoyed our independent city tour,
making the most of our evening stroll in this resort paradise.
We managed to snag various Nha Trang souvenirs,
picking up items for our Vietnam Nha Trang shopping list that we missed at Dam Market,
and even grabbed some fruits for a late-night snack.
We fully immersed ourselves in the local energy, with its dazzling lights and vibrant atmosphere,
and because it's on the smaller side, it offered a wonderfully concentrated experience for
Vietnamese souvenir shopping.
While the prices might be a little higher than at Dam Market,
from colorful resort dresses and Nha Trang T-shirts
to delicious street snacks, the Nha Trang Night Market
definitely delivered on the fun of browsing.
It's best to visit between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM,
when the sun has set and a cool breeze starts to blow.
You can also enjoy a variety of delicious foods around the market,
