InterContinental Nha Trang Review 2026: 5-Star City Stay & Family Pool
Planning a Nha Trang family getaway? Discover the InterContinental Nha Trang, a 5-star city hotel offering prime location, ocean-view rooms, and fantastic amenities.

For two nights in Nha Trang, we relaxed at a resort,
and for our final night, we chose a **hotel perfect for city sightseeing**.
The place I stayed at was InterContinental Nha Trang, and I was so satisfied with its great location,
rooms, breakfast, and even the swimming pool that I'd highly recommend it for family trips.
I'll also share some **handy tips for booking with a discount**!
1. Benefits of Staying at a City Hotel in Nha Trang

Since we planned to do some city sightseeing on our last day,
**location was the most important factor when choosing our hotel.**
InterContinental Nha Trang is just about a **5-minute walk to Lotte Mart**, and popular restaurants like **Pizza 4P's and massage shops**
are all clustered nearby, so we mostly got around on foot.
Being on the main road, it was also convenient for getting around with Grab
to places like Po Nagar Cham Towers or Nha Trang Cathedral.

Sheraton is right across from the hotel,
and you can even see the sea from the rooms,
so even though it's a city hotel, it still offered a bit of a resort feel.
2. Recommended Hotel for Family Travel

Among the various room types, I stayed in the most basic one,
the **Classic Ocean View Twin Room**.
The room size was approximately 40㎡,
offering plenty of space even with suitcases unpacked, and I loved the clean, modern interior.
Check-in was from 3 PM,
but when I arrived around 2 PM,
they kindly allowed an early check-in without any additional charge.

There was also a large sofa and a table next to the bed.
I mostly ate fruit platters and banh mi there, but it also seemed perfect for ordering room service after a swim.

The bathroom had two entrances, making its layout a bit unique.
You could enter directly from the hallway or through the sliding door next to the bed, and with a separate shower booth and bathtub, it was very convenient to use!
I thought it would be great even for those traveling with children or staying with parents, thanks to the spacious layout.
I visited during peak season and booked it for about ~$148 per night,
which I felt was a pretty good price considering the location and room condition for a 5-star hotel.
📌 Price Comparison
**Agoda: ~$152**
**Trip.com: ~$152**
Surprisingly, the prices on both sites are almost identical.

3. Classic Ocean View Twin Room

The bedding was kept fluffy and dry, with **absolutely none of that characteristic dampness often found in Southeast Asian hotels**.
(Even if you book a place that's too budget-friendly,
the bedding can feel damp and unpleasant, making it not ideal for family travel.)
The twin beds were also wider than expected,
so they didn't feel small for adult use.

Opening the drawer next to the TV revealed a refrigerator, an electric kettle,
tea bags, and various types of alcoholic beverages.
Two bottles of water were provided daily,
and since the minibar was chargeable, I didn't use it.😂

The amenities were Byredo products.
Not only hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash,
but also body lotion was provided.

The hairdryer was a Philips product.

The closet had bathrobes and room slippers,
and it's convenient to wear a bathrobe when heading to the pool.
The slippers weren't flimsy disposable ones;
they were quite thick, almost too nice to throw away after just one day.

By the way, we also took advantage of the late checkout on our last day.
(I inquired about availability via phone from the room on the same day.)
For $100, we could use the room until 9 PM,
and a dinner course meal was also included.
4. Breakfast

Breakfast Hours: 6 AM to 11 AM
I tend to value breakfast at hotels in Southeast Asia,
and at InterContinental Nha Trang, I noticed a particularly high number of Korean guests
traveling with their families.
After trying it myself, I understood why.
There was a wide variety of Korean dishes available, such as
Gimbap, Tteokbokki, fried chicken, Jeyuk-bokkeum, and Miyeok-guk (seaweed soup),
and there was even a Korean chef.

I was curious about the Gimbap sauce, so I asked a staff member,
and the Korean chef even came out personally to explain it.
Perhaps that's why it wasn't some awkwardly localized version of Korean food;
it tasted quite similar to what you'd find in Korea, making it
especially suitable for families traveling with parents or children.

The live stations were also excellent.
You could order dishes like rice noodles and pork rib noodles on the spot,
and for egg dishes, you could choose between scrambled eggs, fried eggs,
or omelets.
I remember having the thick and delicious omelet every morning.

The dessert corner also offered a good variety.
There were bakery items, donuts, pastries, puddings,
and even coconut and matcha soft-serve ice cream available.

And when it came to fruits, mangoes were definitely on the menu!
It wasn't just a lineup of unfamiliar fruits,
but rather focused on popular choices, making it super easy and enjoyable to pick what I liked.
The variety was truly impressive – they even had separate gluten-free bread!
I indulged in Korean dishes one day, and on another, savored some delicious pho.
And with dessert to top it all off, I was truly energized and ready for the day right from the morning! 😌
5. The Swimming Pool & Fabulous Facilities

Swimming Pool Hours: 6 AM to 6 PM
Perched on the 2nd floor,
the pool offers breathtaking views of the ocean as you swim.
And the best part? The InterContinental is right on the beachfront!
Just cross the road and you're stepping onto the soft sands – talk about convenience!

After a delightful breakfast, I headed straight down to the pool.
With lush palm trees swaying and crystal-clear water,
it truly felt like a relaxing resort escape, even though it's a city hotel.
Sunbeds and fresh towels were readily available,
and when I visited, it wasn't overly crowded,
making it perfect for a peaceful and leisurely swim.

The fitness center and sauna were also conveniently located on the same 2nd floor,
with the fitness center operating 24 hours a day.
The sauna was quite extensive, even featuring both dry and wet options,
making it a fantastic amenity for multi-generational travel or trips with parents,
where everyone can find something to enjoy.

For those with late-night flights,
make sure to utilize the post-checkout shower facilities!
Right next to the pool, you'll find convenient changing rooms and showers.
And they're fully equipped with luxurious Byredo amenities and even hair dryers,
so you can freshen up comfortably even after checking out of your room.
