i-Resort Mud Spa

When you're planning a trip to Nha Trang, you'll see a lot of recommendations for mud spas.

Among them, I chose i-Resort because you can enjoy mud baths, hot spring pools, and a water park all in one place. But even then, the options were so diverse that it was tough to decide!

So, in this post, I've compiled everything you need to know to easily decide "what to book," including prices for each option, how to get there, and key features. 😊

It's about a 15-20 minute drive from the city center, costing around 100,000-150,000 VND by Grab.

The closing times vary by facility.

The hot water pool closes at 17:00, the mud bath, herbal bath, and mud house at 15:00, and the VIP room at 13:00.

Here are the official prices as of 2026. If you're traveling independently, these are the prices you'll encounter.

① Admission Ticket

The admission ticket grants access to the water park and hot springs, but the mud bath is a separate charge.

Sunbeds, towels, swimsuits, and lockers are free, as is the valuable storage counter.

* Applicable from January 1, 2026 ~ December 31, 2026 / Based on i-Resort's official website / Exchange rate applied as of 2026.10.4 (1,000 VND ~$0)

② Mud & Herbal Options

You can choose 20-minute herbal or mud bath options in addition to the admission ticket service mentioned above.

This means all prices below include the admission ticket.

① If you're a group of four or more, don't book separately; simply share one tub!

​

Prices for the Mud Bath, Herb Bath, and i-Combo vary between 1-3 person tubs and 4-10 person tubs. If your group is 4 or more, you'll save 50,000 VND per person!

② Children's rates are based on height, not age.

Children under 100cm are free, 100-150cm qualify for child rates, and those over 150cm are charged adult rates. So, even older elementary school students might be charged as adults!

③ Elevated Experiences (VIP Services)

​

The Mud House offers a full course, including admission, mud, herbs, massage, and even a light meal, starting from 1,500,000 VND (around ~$58). VIP Bungalows, for 4 hours, start from 3,500,000 VND (around ~$135).

If you opt for the Mud House, I recommend starting with your Mud House experience before moving on to enjoy the water park or hot spring pools.

Plus, with buggies for all transportation, the Mud House sounds like a fantastic option if you're traveling with your parents!

① Grab Ride

From the city center to i-Resort, it's about a 15-20 minute ride, costing roughly 100,000-150,000 VND one-way by Grab.

While it doesn't seem far on the map, many reviews mention that it can be tricky to find a Grab for the return journey since it's a bit out of the way.

In this scenario, buying your tickets on-site or through a travel platform doesn't make much difference.

② Half-Day Joint Package with Pickup & Lunch

This is actually the option I chose! It was a tour run by Benaza Tour, famous for Vietnam travel experiences.

After checking out, I had a gap until my night flight, and with a lot of luggage, I was a bit uneasy leaving it at the spa reception.

The big advantage of this tour was being able to leave my luggage in the car, and with lunch taken care of, the whole itinerary felt perfectly smooth.

For adults, it costs ~$38.

I'd heard that a Korean-speaking guide would accompany us for round-trip transfers, to a city restaurant, and to the spa reception, but they even came into the mud spa itself to help us get settled!

After that, you're free to explore on your own.

📌 Even if you're staying at an outlying resort, you can get picked up at the city's meeting point for an additional fee.

The driver handled all the luggage, which made things so much easier.

📌 To be completely honest, since it's a fixed 4-hour tour, once you deduct travel and lunch time, you'll need to finish your 20-minute mud bath, water park fun, and shower all within 2 to 2.5 hours.

This is perfectly sufficient for adults, but if you're with children who need supervision, it can get quite hectic.

📌 This is especially for those doing the spa after check-out! The shower pressure can be weak, so I recommend just rinsing at the spa and then booking a city massage shop where you can shower properly, or even a '0.5-night' hotel for a quick refresh.

③ Round-Trip Private Transfer + Ticket Purchase (Options Available)

If you're traveling with children or your parents, I highly recommend this option.

📌 There's no separate waiting fee, and if you notify the operator at least 30 minutes before you're ready to leave, they'll arrange a car to take you back to your hotel.

📌 However, even with a private car, luggage storage isn't included. For valuables or large bags, you'll need to leave them at the spa reception.

📌I think the biggest advantages are that kids can play longer if they want to, and you get a private vehicle. While calling a Grab might be cheaper, the challenge is that it can be hard to find one when returning from the resort, often leading to long waits.

📌If you're torn between this and option ②, there's one key factor to consider: are you perfectly fine with a fixed 4-hour duration, or do you crave a bit more time to relax and play at your own pace?​

The price difference between organizing a free-and-easy trip and booking through a platform isn't dramatically huge.

However, if you're traveling with children and even your parents, I wholeheartedly recommend it! There are so many options that allow you to focus purely on enjoying the water activities without a single worry about transportation.
