The convenience begins right from your doorstep! A comfortable vehicle will pick you up directly from your resort or hotel. I briefly wondered how I'd spot my ride, but my worries quickly vanished when I saw them clearly holding up a sign with my name – it couldn't have been easier!
A fantastic perk was the dedicated waiting area near the harbor. It was the perfect spot to grab an iced coffee, change into my swimwear, and use the restrooms before we embarked. While you can certainly change into your rash guard there, I found it most convenient to simply wear it from the hotel. After a quick briefing on the day's activities, we hopped onto a speed boat, ready to transfer to our main vessel.
Upon arrival at the main boat, the crew greeted us with a lively welcome dance and an impressive diving show! I was so captivated by the spectacle that I completely forgot to snap a picture of the boat itself. The photo you see here was actually taken later, during our water activities.
The deck was already set with an array of delicious treats: pizza, banh mi, champagne, fresh mango, watermelon, and other refreshing fruits. At first, I felt a little hesitant, wondering if I should wait, but trust me, dive right in! The sooner you grab a bite, the better, as you'll be jumping into the ocean before you know it. Unlimited beer and soft drinks are also provided, which you can enjoy right away or save for after your first refreshing swim.
After a simple safety explanation, it was time to jump in and play! All Nha Trang snorkeling equipment – masks, life vests, and fins – is provided, so you literally just need to bring yourself. No need to pack any extra gear!
If snorkeling isn't your only passion, you can head up to the second deck for some fishing or slide down the exhilarating waterslide. Diving is also an option, but for safety, crew members need to be stationed below, so there are specific times for this activity. After a refreshing first dip and getting a taste of the ocean, we moved to our second snorkeling spot: Hon Mun Island.
This is personally my favorite spot because the water is incredibly clear and shallow, making it perfect even if you're not a strong swimmer. Just a heads-up, the restrooms here are quite basic, so it's best to use the facilities on the main boat beforehand.
The underwater visibility is excellent, as you can see! And what's better after a swim than a hearty bowl of spicy crab ramen? While the menu might vary slightly, this is also typically when the diving sessions take place. Soon after, the Vietnamese crew started their amazing performance, slowly building up the party atmosphere...

Lunch was a delicious local meal served at Soi Beach, and it was surprisingly good! Each dish was flavorful and exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. After lunch, we had some free time. Initially, I wondered why we weren't heading back right away, but once I started trying the other activities, my mind completely changed!
Exploring the underwater world through sea walking or an introductory scuba diving experience was completely different from just snorkeling. The vibrant emerald waters, diverse coral reefs, and schools of fish swimming around were breathtaking.
It offered a whole new perspective compared to just seeing things from the surface.
