After a somewhat underwhelming visit to the Nha Trang Night Market, which was less bustling than expected, we decided to search for a nearby pub to grab some refreshing beers.
That's how we stumbled upon this fantastic Nha Trang pub, boasting a truly unique and vibrant atmosphere. It felt like a secret hideout, especially popular among Western travelers and expats.

It seems Westerners often gravitate towards places where they see others from similar backgrounds, whether it's a pub, cafe, or restaurant.
This place, in particular, was absolutely buzzing with people!

The ground floor features a bar and outdoor tables, while the second floor, though small, offers a cool, hip vibe. The kitchen is located on the floor above that.
For efficiency, there's an elevator that brings dishes down from the kitchen to the first floor, and then staff carry them up to the second floor. It's a unique system, to say the least!
Despite the steep stairs, it seemed to work well, especially since most of the seating is downstairs. (Though it appeared people mostly drank downstairs and ate upstairs.)

Since the second floor was completely full, we settled at the bar for a bit.

First things first: drinks! Whenever I visit a craft beer pub for the first time and see a sampler, that's my go-to order. It's the perfect way to try a variety and then reorder the ones you love.
I hadn't planned on ordering food, but a familiar menu item caught my eye. Here's a glimpse of the Jellybrew menu at this Nha Trang pub.

One of my favorite snacks in India was crispy corn, so when I saw 'Butter Corn' on the menu, I had to try it, hoping it would be similar.

Here's my take on the sampler beers:
Summer definitely stood out, but the others were a bit on the milder side compared to what I usually expect. If you enjoy pale ales or wheat beers, Summer is a solid choice.
I arrived in Nha Trang without much research, so when night fell, I found myself wandering aimlessly, unsure of what to do. But this unplanned exploration led to some fantastic discoveries – cool spas, charming brunch cafes, and more. Unfortunately, they were all out of reach for today, so I'll have to save them for a future trip.
I really enjoy this process: discovering a place by chance, then checking Google Maps reviews for indirect verification, and finally visiting to experience it firsthand. Finding those truly special spots and sharing them on my blog is incredibly rewarding!
Of course, this approach often means I'm showcasing lesser-known spots rather than popular tourist traps, which can sometimes make them harder to find via search. That's why I decided to categorize this as a Nha Trang pub or bar, rather than just a restaurant.
Anyway, about that 'Butter Corn'... What's the deal with intuition? It's uncanny how often those gut feelings are right. I had a strange hunch that the butter corn a solo traveler next to me was eating was actually mine, mistakenly delivered. I tried to dismiss it, thinking they might have ordered it first, but sure enough, it was mine! My intuition strikes again!

Meanwhile, a spot opened up upstairs, so we moved. I quickly finished the rest of my sampler and headed up with my remaining drink and the butter corn.
And wow, this Butter Corn is actually pretty good! It's the kind of sweet, fried corn with butter that kids would probably adore. It might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it.

One word of caution, though: if you're dining solo, it can get a bit much. I couldn't finish it all by myself; it became a bit too rich. It’s probably best enjoyed with friends.

From our spot upstairs, we had a great view of the ground floor. Even the outdoor tables were completely packed!

This particular corner is one of the most popular spots on the second floor of this Nha Trang pub.
Finally, a quick note on hygiene: I'm generally not too particular about cleanliness when traveling through Southeast Asia, but if you're sensitive, here's a photo of a fan.

This was on the second floor. If things like this bother you, the downstairs area might be better maintained. Plus, there aren't any fans down there.
So, if you find yourself underwhelmed by the Nha Trang Night Market, I highly recommend checking out this lively Nha Trang pub for some great beers and a fantastic atmosphere. It truly feels like a vibrant hub for Western travelers!
'Bay' has a mild flavor, 'Summer' offers a refreshing fruity taste, 'Amber' is a less bitter IPA, and 'Onyx' has a dark beer flavor. 'Summer' is particularly suitable for those who enjoy pale ales or wheat ales.
'Butter Corn' is sweet, made from fried corn coated in butter, and is likely to be a hit with children. However, it can easily become tiresome if eaten alone, so it's best to order it to share among several people.
If you are sensitive to hygiene, the first floor might be better maintained than the second floor. The second floor has fans, but the first floor does not, which might make it feel cleaner.
