Looking back at my recent Nha Trang adventure, I have a tiny regret about not having enough free time for true independent exploration. With several tours booked, my schedule felt a bit too packed.
So, on my last day, I decided to make up for it and explore as much as I could! My first stop? The famous CCCP Coffee, a spot I hadn't managed to visit yet.
CCCP Coffee

I was already nearby, and it was a quick stroll, so I arrived in no time.
You'll find another popular Nha Trang eatery, Goc Ha Noi, right across the street.

I'd heard that this place was usually bustling with Korean tourists, so I was surprised when I didn't see many at first.

Turns out, most of them were gathered in the innermost section of the cafe!
Whether you're on a free and easy Nha Trang trip or part of a tour, CCCP Coffee and Cong Cafe are often on everyone's must-visit list. Many travelers choose to visit at least one of the two.

Even though it was a bit warm during the day, I preferred the outdoor ambiance, so I settled down at a table outside.

Given the heat, I ordered a refreshing coconut coffee. They bring your order right to your table.

While I was waiting, just enjoying the moment, I noticed more and more people coming in, visibly sweating. It seemed the sun had gotten stronger since I arrived!

My coconut coffee arrived, looking absolutely delicious and generously topped with coconut. It even came with a spoon, perfect for scooping up all that creamy goodness.
Funnily enough, I had quite an amusing anecdote happen at CCCP Coffee, but I'll save that for another post!
Laundry Solutions for Your Nha Trang Free & Easy Trip
When I used to travel internationally, I always packed an excessive amount of clothes and essentials. Honestly, it was a bad habit I picked up early on.
Just a few years ago, I hadn't quite caught the travel bug. Back in college, international travel wasn't on my radar, and my first trips were work-related where generous baggage allowances on national carriers meant I overpacked, bringing everything I *might* need, just in case.
Now, with budget airlines being my go-to, I've had to learn to pack light. Overpacking is definitely a hindrance when every pound counts!
That's why when I travel in Southeast Asia, I often rely on local laundry services. It's a great way to refresh your wardrobe mid-trip.

I used Google Maps to find a laundry shop near my hotel.

The sign advertised a 2-hour completion time. I dropped off my clothes around 4 PM and was told they'd be ready by 9 PM. It wasn't urgent, so the timing was fine.
The cost was about ~$2 for 6.6 pounds (3 kg), which was the minimum charge. When traveling solo, it's often hard to reach that 6.6-pound minimum.
However, as I was walking back to my hotel, I stumbled upon another laundry spot...

This other place wasn't listed on Google Maps, so I hadn't known about it! I had just moved from a resort in the Cam Ranh area to a city hotel that day, so I was still getting my bearings.
The price per kilogram was the same, but if there's no minimum charge, it ends up being cheaper overall for smaller loads.

It looked like a hastily put-up sign proclaiming "Affordable Laundry"!
While hotel laundry services can be quite pricey, I've found that using local laundry shops is a fantastic, budget-friendly option when traveling through Vietnam.
And there you have it – a glimpse into my Nha Trang free and easy experiences, from enjoying a delicious coconut coffee at CCCP to navigating local laundry services!
Nha Trang CCCP Coffee is located at 22 Tô Hiến Thành, Tân Lập, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa 57000 Vietnam. Across from this coffee shop is Goc Ha Noi, a popular restaurant in Nha Trang.
A local laundry service in Nha Trang costs about ~$2 for 3kg, which is usually the minimum charge. When I dropped off laundry at 4 PM, I was told to pick it up at 9 PM, so it took about 5 hours.
At CCCP Coffee, you can order coconut coffee, which comes with a spoon for scooping. Korean visitors tend to occupy the innermost seating area.
