Most Nha Trang trips involve late-night flights,
so you often have a long wait at the airport, right?
I used my Shinhan SOL card to visit
the Sun Coast Lounge at Cam Ranh Airport,
and it was a fantastic experience.
Today, I'll share everything from the types of lounges at Cam Ranh Airport,
including the Sun Coast Lounge's price, location, shower facilities, and food,
along with my honest review!
1. Nha Trang Cam Ranh Airport Lounges
At Cam Ranh International Airport's international terminal,
you'll find a total of three lounges.

I did a lot of research before my trip,
and found that the SH Lounge often received
disappointing reviews regarding its food and facilities!
So, if you're planning a visit,
I highly recommend choosing between the Sun Coast or Lotus
lounges.
In The Lounge app,
the available international lounges are
Sun Coast and SH.
I used my Shinhan SOL Travel Card's
annual twice-a-year free lounge benefit,
so one person entered for free.
For the other, I purchased a pass so we could enter together.
2. Sun Coast Lounge: Price & Location
You'll find it in the international departure hall (Terminal 2) of Cam Ranh Airport.
After passing immigration and security checks,
turn left and go straight.
It's located directly opposite Gates 1-3.
It wasn't hard to find at all!
Operating Hours: 08:00 AM ~ 02:30 AM
Usage Time: Max 3 hours
Nha Trang usually has a lot of late-night or early morning flights, doesn't it?
This lounge is open until 2:30 AM,
making it a perfect spot to relax while waiting for your flight.

The usage fees are quite a bit pricier than I expected, aren't they?
If you have a card that allows free access
(like a PP card or an affiliated card),
your satisfaction level will likely be much higher.
3. Food & Drinks
Even though it was close to midnight,
the food was continuously replenished,
and the variety was actually quite impressive!
Fruits, bread (with butter and jam), and Gimbap.
Chicken, bacon,
fried rice, spaghetti, and salad.
When I visited, there was no pho or yogurt available,
but if you ask a staff member,
they'll actually give you a cup of Shin Ramyun?!
I didn't know this until a Korean gentleman who arrived later
asked for it, and they gave it to him, haha.
So, if there's something you can't find, try asking a staff member!
For drinks,
they had Vietnamese beers (Saigon, 333 beer),
sodas, and fruit juices.
That was pretty much the selection.
Cereal, coffee, tea, and ice
were all neatly laid out and available.
I'd heard reviews mentioning whiskey,
but when I visited, only vodka was available.
My mom loves beer, so she had two cans,
and I enjoyed plenty of fruits and drinks, haha.
While the food variety is decent,
don't set your expectations too high for the taste...
However, I've seen many reviews saying the food selection
is much better than at the SH Lounge.
4. The Showers
Many of you are probably curious about the showers here.
There's one shower room exclusively for women,
and one shared shower room available.
You can borrow a hairdryer by asking at the counter.
Honestly, the showers only feature overhead 'rain' showerheads,
so the water pressure tends to be a bit weak.
Also, the cleanliness isn't exactly top-notch.
That's why, instead of showering here,
I highly recommend booking a '0.5-night' hotel in the city,
showering there, and then heading to the airport.

5. My Honest Review

The bottom line: Recommended if you have a free access card!
Otherwise, for an adult, the price of ~$32
felt a bit expensive.
Traveling with kids and parents?
Children under 5 can enter for free.
If you're traveling with elderly parents,
early morning flights can be quite exhausting,
so using the lounge
could be a great option.
My Personal Recommendation: This Method!
Personally, rather than the lounge,
my satisfaction was higher showering and resting at an affordable 0.5-night hotel
before heading to the airport.
Especially in Nha Trang, where there are many late-night flights,
you can make the most of your last day playing,
then wash up and relax at a hotel,
and head to the airport feeling much more refreshed.

If you have a free lounge access card,
I absolutely recommend the Suncoast Lounge.
However, if you plan to use it for a fee,
I'd suggest comparing its price to a 0.5-night hotel stay
and making your choice, as you might find it more satisfying :)

According to the article, the SunCoast Lounge is highly recommended with a 4/5 rating, and the Lotus Lounge generally receives good reviews with a 3/5 rating. The SH Premium Lounge, however, has a 1/5 rating and reportedly receives many harsh criticisms regarding its food and facilities.
The SunCoast Lounge operates from 08:00 AM until 02:30 AM. Each entry allows for a maximum stay of 3 hours.
The fee for adults is 800,000 VND (approximately ~$32). For children aged 5 to 12, it is 400,000 VND (approximately ~$16). Children under 5 years old can enter for free.
According to the article, pho or yogurt were not available, but you can reportedly receive Shin Ramyun cup noodles separately by asking a staff member. It is recommended to inquire with the staff if you are looking for items that are not readily available.
