1. Enjoying a Culinary Journey in Nha Trang, Vietnam

I recently visited Nha Trang, often called the "Jewel of Southeast Asia," where you can truly enjoy an amazing and affordable culinary adventure.

Even though I visit once or twice a year, each time I discover new fantastic eateries in Nha Trang, making every trip to Vietnam a delight for my taste buds!

Recently, I experienced a unique combination: I grabbed a souvlaki wrap to-go from 'Greek Souvlaki Nha Trang,' a Greek restaurant that's become a new culinary hotspot in Nha Trang, gaining buzz among Korean travelers. Then, I enjoyed it with a refreshing drink at 'Cong Caphe,' a popular Vietnamese cafe right next door.

Nha Trang boasts so many fantastic cafes, like the local brand CCCP, the lush Jungle Cafe, the photogenic Ola Cafe, and the serene An Cafe with its pond and greenery. Being able to experience two popular spots at once like this made for a perfectly efficient itinerary!

I'll share all the details, including the location of Greek Souvlaki Nha Trang and the conveniently located Cong Caphe next door, as well as their food and drink menus, prices, and atmosphere.

2. Greek Souvlaki Nha Trang Chicken Wrap Takeaway

Greek Souvlaki Nha Trang, a rising star among Nha Trang's best restaurants, is super accessible, located just a 2-minute walk from Regalia Gold Hotel – a popular and excellent value 5-star hotel in downtown Nha Trang where many Koreans stay.

You can order on the first floor, but usually, diners head up to the second floor because the air conditioning isn't running on the ground floor.

However, when I visited, they were undergoing external renovations, so the second-floor windows and sign were covered. Since I planned to just grab my food to-go and head to Cong Caphe right next door, I placed a takeaway order.

Popular menu items beloved by Koreans are the Wraps, where you can choose your meat (chicken, pork, beef, lamb, pancetta, etc.) to your liking. They're also excellent value, costing around ~$2 to ~$3 each.

Besides those, they also offer Box Platters – beautifully plated with pita bread, Greek salad, fries, and meat all on one dish – as well as salads and side dishes perfect for a simple and satisfying meal.

After some deliberation, I ordered one of the popular wraps, a Chicken Wrap (GS Chicken Wrap 55만동/approximately ~$2).

They had a diverse menu of drinks,

including smoothies and warm teas. A black coffee was 35,000 VND

(around ~$1), so the prices were quite reasonable, but

to enjoy an even more vibrant Vietnamese journey,

I decided to move on to the more atmospheric Cong Caphe.

Right nearby, there's another spot called 'Green Chicken' that has almost the exact same menu.

Apparently, it's a branch-like store newly opened by a staff member who used to work at Greek Souvlaki Nha Trang, so

you can just visit whichever one is more convenient for your route.

3. Cong Caphe: A Popular Vietnamese Cafe

Just like Greek Souvlaki,

the Cong Caphe branch right next door also stays open late,

making it a perfect spot for a relaxed visit.

This particular Cong Caphe branch is actually one of my regulars, I've visited it so many times.

Among the Cong Caphe locations, this one doesn't get too many tourists, and they really crank up the air conditioning,

which makes it a wonderful Nha Trang cafe where you can unwind quietly in a unique atmosphere.

Many people grab banh mi to go from 'Banh Mi Phan' and enjoy it at the nearby CCCP store, right?

Most large cafes in Vietnam that don't have their own food menu often allow outside food.

When I went into Cong Caphe and asked a staff member,

they kindly explained that outside food is indeed allowed as long as you order a drink.

Cong Caphe is a renowned coffee brand famous for its unique interpretation of 1980s Vietnamese retro aesthetics in its interiors

and storytelling infused with local history. It's such a recognized brand that it has branches in many countries, making it quite familiar to many of you.

That's why visiting it in its home country

feels like a completely different experience.

Their signature menu item is the Coconut Smoothie

(69,000 VND / about ~$3), which I always make sure to order.

This time, I also tried the Watermelon Juice (65,000 VND / about ~$3).

These kinds of cool, air-conditioned, and clean establishments

usually come with higher price tags.

Compared to local Vietnamese cafes, it might feel a bit pricey, but considering prices in many other countries,

it still offers excellent value for money.

We settled into a quiet corner on the second floor to enjoy our wrap,

and the service was exceptional. As soon as we sat down, they brought us cool water,

and even delivered our drinks directly to our table.

4. The Taste of the Chicken Wrap

While some might feel they've had their fill of Cong Caphe,

I honestly find myself missing it if I don't stop by.

Sipping on Cong Caphe's rich and nutty signature drink alongside the sweet yet refreshing watermelon smoothie,

we beat the heat and had a satisfying meal with the Greek Souvlaki chicken wrap.

Freshly prepared, the warm and chewy pita bread was filled with tender, plainly grilled chicken,

fresh vegetables, a generous portion of French fries, and a refreshing, savory sauce, all coming together for a fantastic flavor and texture experience.

It was truly delightful to savor the flavors of both a popular Nha Trang cafe and a renowned Nha Trang eatery

simultaneously in such a comfortable setting, all while getting great value for money.

5. Concluding Our Nha Trang Culinary Journey in Vietnam

Enjoying a hearty Greek Souvlaki wrap and a sweet drink at the cool, atmospheric Cong Caphe in Vietnam

felt like all the fatigue from our Vietnam trip just melted away.

From here, it's just a 5-minute walk to Nha Trang Beach and the Nha Trang Night Market, and nearby, you'll also find local seafood restaurants offering great value, like Quan Oc Ngon, and Nem Nuong spots.

So, it's a fantastic area to continue your culinary exploration.

The charming eateries and cafes right in Nha Trang's city center are perfectly positioned, making the whole route so convenient.
