Narita Luggage Delivery Review 2026: Tokyo Hands-Free
Skip the coin locker hunt in Tokyo! Learn how to use Narita Airport luggage delivery to send your bags directly to your hotel and travel completely hands-free.
On my recent trip to Tokyo,
I decided to try out a game-changing service:
sending my suitcases directly from Narita Airport to my hotel,
and then back from the hotel to Narita Airport at the end of my trip.
Here is my honest review of this luggage delivery service.

If you have ever traveled to Japan, you already know
that hunting for an empty coin locker at busy train stations is like a sport!
Instead of wasting precious time and energy dragging heavy bags around
searching for a locker, I figured it would be much smarter
to ship my bags straight to my accommodation.

✅ When your flight lands early in the morning,
and you want to start exploring Tokyo immediately before hotel check-in
✅ When your departure flight is late in the evening,
and you want to enjoy sightseeing on your final day completely bag-free
This service lets you kick off and wrap up your Tokyo adventure
without dragging a massive suitcase through crowded streets and subway stairs.
I highly, highly recommend it!

While you can sign up for this on the spot at Narita Airport,
I highly recommend booking it online before you fly.
Booking in advance is usually cheaper,
and it saves you from filling out complicated paperwork
or dealing with payments at the counter after a long flight.
Tokyo Narita Airport Luggage Delivery Service
Once you book on Klook,
you will receive a booking confirmation email with your reservation number.
Just follow the instructions in the email to upload a photo of your bag
and your hotel booking voucher, and you are good to go!

After landing at Narita Airport, head over to the JALABC Counter
located in the Terminal 1 Arrival Floor (South Wing).

Counters are located at both the North and South ends of the terminal, which can be confusing.
Just remember that the luggage drop-off service is in the South Wing!

Simply show your mobile voucher to the staff, and they will take care of the rest.
✅ Pro Tips & Things to Keep in Mind
For same-day delivery from Narita Airport to your hotel,
you must drop off your bags by 1:00 PM.
If your flight lands before this cut-off time, this service is an absolute must-try.

When you arrive at your accommodation later in the day,
simply let the front desk staff know you sent luggage, and collect your bags.
2. Tokyo Hotel → Narita Airport Terminal 1 Luggage Delivery
On the last day of our Tokyo trip,
we wanted to make the journey back to the airport as seamless as possible.
Since our flight home wasn't until 9:00 PM, dragging our bags around
or traveling back to the hotel just to retrieve them felt like a massive waste of time.
I booked the return service the day before, and the process was just as simple.
Unlike sending bags to the hotel,
shipping them back to the airport requires a few more details.
You will need to fill out the email form with your hotel name, hotel voucher,
room number, and departure flight number.

On the morning of your departure, leave your bags with the front desk by 9:00 AM
and tell them, "I have a luggage delivery service scheduled." They will handle everything from there.
✅ Pro Tips & Things to Keep in Mind
Most hotels won't issue a physical receipt when you drop off your bags for delivery.
Make sure to snap a quick photo of your bags at the lobby desk before you leave as a backup record!

Once they pick up your luggage, the delivery company sends
a "Luggage Picked Up" email, followed by a "Luggage Arrived Safely" confirmation.
Being able to track the status in real-time gave us complete peace of mind.

You can show these confirmation emails at the counter for quick retrieval,
which made picking them up at Narita Airport incredibly fast.
At Narita Terminal 1, head to the International Departure Floor (South Wing)
and retrieve your bags at the JALABC Counter.

Here are the luggage size and weight limits for the service:
✅ Standard Checked Baggage (approx. 24–28 inches): Around ~$18 per bag
Sum of 3 dimensions (L+W+H) under 70 inches (180 cm) / Weight under 66 lbs (30 kg)
✅ Carry-on Baggage (20 inches or less): Around ~$13 per bag
✅ Oversized items like golf bags and snowboards are also accepted

While weight is monitored, the price is calculated per piece of luggage.
To save money, we packed all of our family's items into one massive suitcase
and only shipped that single piece!
For less than ~$20 per bag, we enjoyed our first and last days in Tokyo
completely hands-free, focusing entirely on sightseeing.
Instead of wandering around train stations looking for empty coin lockers,
save your energy and book this luggage delivery service instead!
