When planning our trip to Türkiye, the biggest worry was
finding a cave accommodation in Göreme, Cappadocia,
that could comfortably fit our family of four.
With so many choices, it was surprisingly hard to pick,
but we found one with amazing reviews and high ratings on booking platforms—
Naraca Cave House, where we ended up staying for two nights!
After staying there, I completely understood why everyone
highly praises this place. It was absolutely wonderful.

01. Cappadocia Göreme Hotel Location
Naraca Cave House
Check-in: 2:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM

This hotel is located in the beautiful Göreme area of Cappadocia.
Since it sits on quite high ground,
I was initially a bit worried that getting there might be difficult.
Fortunately, cars can drive right up to the front of the hotel.
We took an airport pickup service and arrived so comfortably.
The trip from Cappadocia Airport to Göreme
takes about 40 to 60 minutes by car.
I highly recommend booking a private transfer for your convenience.

As soon as we arrived, the host gave us an incredibly warm welcome.
There were so many reviews on Booking.com praising
their hospitality and help with luggage, and I understood why instantly!
From explaining the Göreme area to recommending the best Cappadocia tours,
they made us feel so well-guided and supported throughout our trip!

If I had to pick one minor downside of this hotel,
it would be that there is no elevator.
Fortunately, we stayed in Room 3 located on the 1st floor,
and our host was super helpful and carried all our heavy suitcases for us.

.
But the hotel itself was so beautiful
that any tiny inconvenience was quickly forgotten.
And since it's located on higher ground,
we got to enjoy stunning, open views,
which actually felt like a huge plus in terms of location!

02. Family Room Room Condition & Hotel Facilities

Since we were traveling as a family of four,
we booked a spacious Family Room that could fit us all.
With two single beds and one large double bed,
there was plenty of space for the four of us to unpack and relax.

The interior of the cave room was so unique and charming.
No matter where or from what angle you took a picture,
the vibe was so incredible that you're guaranteed to get a shot of a lifetime.

Because it is an authentic cave, a little bit of white powder
occasionally drift down from the ceiling, but...
We heard this is a common thing no matter which cave hotel you stay at,
so we just brushed it off and stayed comfortably.

Even though we visited during the blazing heat of mid-August,
the unique nature of the cave meant it quickly became cool as soon as we stepped into the shade during the day,
and it actually got quite chilly at night and in the early mornings,
so we didn't need an air conditioner at all.

Most of all, from the accommodation's top-floor terrace and rooftop,
we could watch countless hot air balloons rising every single morning,
and the sunsets were absolutely magical,
so just sitting quietly at the hotel
felt incredibly healing.

Our whole family gathered on the rooftop
to drink Turkish wine and beer while chatting and hanging out.
The surrounding scenery was so unique and the vibe was so good
that it'll stay in my memory for a long time haha :)
03. A Highly Satisfying Breakfast

When choosing where to stay, I had really high expectations
after seeing reviews saying the breakfast is absolutely delicious.
But when we actually tried it, it exceeded all my expectations.
Instead of a typical buffet, they served a beautifully presented,
thoughtfully prepared, high-quality à la carte breakfast.
During our 2-night stay, the menu presented
each morning was slightly different,
and overall, almost every dish suited our palates perfectly.

Not only did we get fresh and sweet fruits,
but also freshly baked warm bread, a variety of hams and cheeses,
and even egg dishes cooked exactly to our liking.
They truly prepare a lavish spread for you.
We were able to start our day feeling full and happy.
The fruits in Türkiye are incredibly delicious... you absolutely must try them.
The fruit provided by the hotel was so amazing
that we ate every single bite of the watermelon and peaches.

A personalized breakfast showcasing the host's thoughtful care
My parents were highly satisfied,
and even though it's been quite a while since our trip,
our family still talks about this place all the time haha.
The Turkish tea (çay) served at the end of breakfast was always wonderful,
and they would make coffee if requested separately, which made me so happy every morning! T_T

04. Booking Price & Overall Review
An extremely satisfying family trip accommodation

NARACA CAVE HOUSE is
easily one of the most satisfying places we stayed at
during this family trip to Türkiye.
I booked it through Booking.com,
and paid around ~$339 for 2 nights in a Family Room.
✔️ This is the price per night for a Family Room as of July 2026.
Agoda | Booking.com | Trip.com |
~$224 | ~$250 | ~$371 |
* Prices may vary depending on exchange rates and options.
I highly recommend carefully comparing options based on your travel dates
before booking!
✔️ While Agoda definitely offers the lowest prices quite often,
there are times when bookings don't go through properly,
and their customer service or refund policies can sometimes be a mess.
That's why I frequently use Booking.com.
On Booking.com, the more bookings you make, the more benefits you accumulate...
The perks are amazing, and collecting rewards to save
on your next booking makes it even better!
