Stepping out of Nakameguro Station,

the famous Tsutaya Bookstore immediately caught my eye!

There were also plenty of general stores, sandwich shops,

coffee shops, and restaurants around.

Down a side street on the right, they were selling black parfaits!

It's from LIT Crepe.

There was a Black Sakura Parfait, which looked really unique,

and I was so curious about the taste that I had to try it!

They even have black ice cream!

I tried the Sakura Strawberry one for 790 yen,

and the black parfait was crispy,

with strawberries and fresh cream inside –

it was deliciously sweet and tart!

This is the Starbucks Reserve Roastery,

one of the largest in the world,

and the fifth Starbucks Reserve store globally!

You can't just walk right in;

there's a ticket dispenser on the left side of the entrance.

Looks like there are 240 people waiting!

Unlike the bustling areas of Shibuya or Shinjuku,

I loved how green and charming it was here.

It's also a famous cherry blossom spot, you know!

Coming straight down from Starbucks Reserve,

we ended up eating at a place called Mark Matsuoka Grill.

It was a tomato pasta,

but it tasted a bit bland.

The wind was absolutely howling!

Everyone was really feeling the chill.

Watch out for your skirts too – they might just take flight!

The wind was strong enough to literally blow things away,

and there was a long line.

Standing in it for so long made us truly freezing!

For the lockers, you just insert 100 yen and turn the key,

and it's returned to you later.

Hats, selfie sticks,

all have to be stored away before you go in.

Once you descend,

there's a fantastic array of restaurants, starting from the basement floors.

You'll find Moheji Monjayaki,

and Tsukata Shabu-shabu, among others.

After you've captured all your photos and headed down,

you can take a peek at Tokyu Hands on the 10th floor,

or head straight to the 10th-floor matcha (green tea) specialty shop,

ocha room ashita ITOEN.

The interior is spacious with plenty of seating options.

It was great to see the matcha being prepared right in front of us.

Ordering via QR code is super convenient everywhere in Tokyo.

I was supposed to order a Hojicha with the Anmitsu set, which included matcha, using the QR code.

But I didn't realize this and ended up ordering the Hojicha and matcha separately as individual items along with the Anmitsu set.

The price ended up being over 3,000 yen.

A kind staff member informed me that I could actually include the matcha within the Anmitsu set. When I explained I didn't know how to adjust the order using the QR code,

they personally changed it for me,

saving me about 1,000 yen.

allowing me to enjoy the Anmitsu set with matcha included, plus an individual Hojicha.

It was absolutely wonderful!
