"Where should I go for the best seafood in Mui Ne?"

Honestly, there is one seafood spot in Mui Ne I didn't hesitate to visit.

That’s Mr. Crab Branch No. 2, located right on Boke Street.

Years ago, during my very first trip to Mui Ne,

a local hotel staff member recommended a restaurant to me,

and that was Mr. Crab.

Boke Mr. Crab, a staple of the Mui Ne seafood scene,

has two locations situated very close to each other.

Looking at Google Maps reviews,

Branch No. 2 has more reviews and a slightly higher rating than Branch No. 1.

But judging from the feedback, there doesn't seem to be a major difference in taste.

I always ended up at Branch No. 2 simply because it was closer to where I was staying,

so I'd recommend just going to whichever one is nearest to you!

If you plan to visit Branch No. 2, I highly recommend timing your visit with the sunset.

The place gets incredibly crowded during peak dinner hours,

so arriving a bit early lets you beat the rush.

Plus, there’s nothing quite like savoring fresh seafood

while watching a gorgeous sunset and listening to the waves crash nearby!

The menu features photos and English/Korean translations, making it super easy to order.

There is a single-sheet menu like the one shown above,

but they also have a full menu with a wider variety of options,

so feel free to ask the staff if you want to see it.

Since the translation can sometimes be a bit quirky,

it's always a good idea to cross-reference with the English descriptions.

For reference, 'Nail' refers to razor clams.

The shrimp dish near the top (which comes with 13–14 pieces) is regular shrimp,

while the one at the bottom (with 4 pieces) features larger tiger prawns.

They offer a wide range of drinks, from beer and Vietnamese vodka to wine—

and yes, they even have Korean Soju!

Right at the entrance, you'll see aquariums and baskets

filled with a huge variety of fresh seafood.

You can choose your seafood, have them weigh it, and order right here.

All that delicious seafood being grilled over hot charcoal.

(Pro tip: Just turn a blind eye to the hygiene standards! 😉)

The restaurant is actually quite spacious, so even during peak hours,

you won't have to wait in line, though service might be a tad slow.

It was super packed when I went, so it felt a bit chaotic,

but the staff did their best to be quick and attentive.

I even wrote in my travel journal: 'The staff was so quick-witted

and professional—loved it!' haha 😂

These are the default sauces served as soon as you sit down.

That light green sauce pairs perfectly with seafood!

Here is what I ordered!

Since we spent the whole day riding the bus to Mui Ne,

we were absolutely starving and ordered a massive feast for two.

Out of everything, this seafood porridge was surprisingly a total hit!

It was a savory, umami-packed porridge (with a touch of MSG goodness)

loaded with seafood—absolutely delicious.

Also, you absolutely must try these stir-fried razor clams.

They're much larger than the ones in other regions, so they're incredibly chewy and flavorful.

For the tiger prawns and grilled scallops,

we ordered them with cheese sauce,

but it felt more like an egg yolk sauce than cheese.

It was still super delicious, though!

Even the french fries were surprisingly good!

For two people, we ordered 6 dishes, beers, and drinks,

and the bill came out to 855,000 VND in total.

We had an absolute feast for under ~$32!

We were so incredibly full that we barely touched the stir-fried noodles.

If you are looking for a great seafood restaurant in Mui Ne,

Mr. Crab is a fantastic choice that is highly loved by both locals and tourists.

As soon as I arrived in Mui Ne,

I found myself heading straight back there without a second thought!
